    Pedrosa injured, Lorenzo closes on title
    Jorge Lorenzo has one hand on the MotoGP title after his only rival Dani Pedrosa injured his shoulder in a practice crash at Motegi on Friday.

    Lorenzo not thinking about title
    Jorge Lorenzo says he doesn't want to think about the championship situation, after his only rival Dani Pedrosa fractured his collarbone in practice at Motegi this morning.

    Rossi surprised by practice pace
    Valentino Rossi was surprised to top Friday's MotoGP practice session at Motegi and says his shoulder injury is bothering him less than he expected.

    Pedrosa ruled out of Motegi race
    Dani Pedrosa has been ruled out of this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix following his crash during practice at Motegi.

    2 things about the calendar, one it is provisional so changes can happen and 2nd Japan was very earlier this season too and only got cancelled because of the Iceland Volcano incident. As for your point about having Spanish GP first and then a fly away race in Japan and then return to Europe, well when you have 4 races in 1 country you need some gap between them so that the interest remains, otherwise the spectator attendance would fall dramatically if they have races with smaller gaps.

    "Fear is part of people's life. Some of them don't know how to face it, others — where I include myself — learn coexisting with it or face it, not as a negative thing, but like a autoprotection sensation."

    Dovizioso satisfied with close second
    Andrea Dovizioso said he was very satisfied to be back on the MotoGP podium in Japan even though he was not able to convert his maiden pole in the series into a victory.

    Rossi: I could've fought for victory
    Valentino Rossi believes he could have stayed with leaders Casey Stoner and Andrea Dovizioso in the Japanese Grand Prix had he not been caught up behind Yamaha team-mate Jorge Lorenzo in the opening laps.

    Hayden: Practice crash spoilt weekend<!-- end title -->
    Nicky Hayden apologised to Ducati for starting the Japanese Grand Prix weekend on the back foot, having never really recovered from a crash in Friday practice.

    Edwards disappointed by gap to front<!-- end title -->
    Colin Edwards was pleased to return to the top five with his most competitive ride of the year in the Japanese Grand Prix - but admitted he was also frustrated that the leaders finished nearly half a minute ahead.

    Thanks bro, for the video link, yes looks really exciting. It reminds me of Rossi Gibernau battle in 2005, if I remember correctly. Rossi push him a bit wide on the last lap and he lost his bike in the gravel lost top podium place while Rossi wins the race.

    Lorenzo promises to fight Rossi harder<!-- end title -->
    Jorge Lorenzo says he will be more aggressive when battling with Valentino Rossi once he has secured this year's title.

    @m_waqas
    Amazingly I just watched the second video from the same first link after seeing the first video, and this is even better. Thats what I love about motorsports and thats why I like agressive drivers and riders in F1 and MotoGP respectively.

    I was disappointed by the comments of Lorenzo after the race, it shows one thing because of his easily achieved title he have not learned how to fight and remain strong. Rossi just shows him how hard he will be next season when fully fit hopefully and it will be not an easy season for Lorenzo to defend his title.

    I will try to find the Rossi/Gibernau battle for you.

    Lorenzo focused on clinching title<!-- end title -->
    Jorge Lorenzo says he is fully focused on securing his first MotoGP title this weekend in Malaysia.

    @m_waqas
    In this one he finishes on 2nd, I was confusing this incident with another one where he crashed on the last lap following Rossi but in that he was not that close to Rossi.
