    Rossi: Conditions nearly impossible
    Valentino Rossi said the weather conditions in first practice at Phillip Island were close to being impossible to ride in.

    Hayden pleased with wet pace
    Nicky Hayden believes he will be in great shape in Australia if the weather remains wet for the rest of the weekend, having taken third place in today's rain-affected practice session.

    Pedrosa makes painful practice return
    Injured Honda rider Dani Pedrosa admitted his short run in Australian Grand Prix practice had left him in pain, and he hopes that adjustments to his race suit will allow him to ride more comfortably in qualifying.

    Spies: Nothing to gain by going out
    Ben Spies defended his decision to sit out today's wet MotoGP practice session at Phillip Island, saying he felt there was nothing to gain by running in the conditions.

    @m_waqas
    Sorry to shatter your dream, but it is not possible because of the fee that Bernie charges for a Track Owner to organise a GP is way too much that Phillip Island would ever go for that. On the other hand there were some rumours of a purpose built Track for F1 just somewhere near Melbourne earlier this year.

    For me both tracks have different charisma, and Albert Park is an excellent circuit for F1 but certainly not for MotoGP.
    M Saad Umar-

    "Fear is part of people's life. Some of them don't know how to face it, others — where I include myself — learn coexisting with it or face it, not as a negative thing, but like a autoprotection sensation."

    @steve..
    so the easiest solution would be, as UK says, to neutralize (kill) Bernie ...

    Albert park is the worst F1 track in the entire calender for me... and i knew that its not possible, at least till bernie is alive... i remember reading somewhere that even GP in Albert park is not much profitable to australian economy ...

    Well Albert Park is loosing money because of many things such as because it is a circuit which is half street and half park circuit people living around the area are making quite a few noises about the F1 cars making huge sounds during a GP weekend and also the rush caused by the spectators coming to see the race.

    F1 is nowadays business and the most important rule of business is to create max profit from minimum investment, thats what Bernie is doing. Just look at the fact that where F1 has gone in last few years or in the coming few years. Apart from US, India, Russia, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Korea, China, Singapore, Turkey and Valencia these all are the places where F1 has gone because of one reason and that is not racing at all but money.

    As for Bernie, bro, he has a huge involvement in F1 from the early days, and at the moment with respect to commercialism, Bernie is the main person to contact.
