Pontiac G6 Coupe 2006
The G6 is also offered as a 2-door coupe, with the same trim levels and engine options as the hardtop convertible. Standard equipment on both includes remote keyless entry, projector-beam fog lamps, sport seats and dual front airbags. Options include side airbags, leather upholstery, heated seats, sunroof (on the coupe only), remote starting system and XM Satellite Radio.
Pontiac G6 Convertible Hardtop 2006
Joining the G6 sedan in the Pontiac lineup is the all-new 2006 G6 Convertible Hardtop, built on the same platform as the G6 Coupe. GT and GTP models are offered, with powertrains including a 3.5-liter, 200 horsepower V-6 and a 3.9-liter, 240 horsepower V-6. The G6 features 2+2 seating for four adults, and the Karmann-designed metal hard top retracts in less than 30 seconds with the touch of a single button.
Pontiac Torrent 2006
The all-new 2006 Torrent is the first-ever SUV in Pontiac's lineup, and is one of the largest vehicles in its class with 5-passenger seating and up to 72.5 cubic feet of cargo space with the 60/40 split/fold rear seat folded flat. The rear seat also reclines and slides forward and back. Torrent is powered by a 3.4-liter, 185 horsepower V-6 and is available in both 2- and 4-wheel drive versions.
Porsche Boxster 2005
Making its North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2005 Porsche Boxster and Boxster S represent the first major makeover in the model's history. Changes include significant styling changes, more powerful engines, numerous handling enhancements, and greater active and passive safety. The entry-level Boxster is powered by a 2.7-liter, 240 horsepower flat-6 engine, while the performance-oriented Boxster S has a 3.2-liter flat-6 that produces 280 horsepower and a top speed of 166 mph.
Saturn Sky 2007
The opened-body Sky is an entirely new two-seater. The Sky also previews a new corporate look for Saturn, which will spread across the lineup in coming years. Saturn dealers will begin receiving Sky in early 2006.
Spyker C8 Spyder 2005
Spyker got its start in 1898 when Jacobus and Hendrik-Jan Spijker, coachbuilders in Amsterdam, built their first car, and continued building them until 1925. The company is back in business, building both street and racing cars powered by Audi 4.1-liter V-8 engines tuned to produce between 400 and 525 horsepower. The Spyker C8 Spyder, C8 Laviolette and C8 Double12 S are all making their North American debuts at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Venturi Fetish 2005
Venturi calls the Fétish roadster "the sports car of the future, today" and builds each one by hand to the specifications of its owner. Powered by lithium-ion batteries and an electric motor, the Fétish has a top speed of well over 120 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under five seconds. The Venturi Fétish is making its North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Volkswagen Jetta 2005
Making its world debut at the 2005 Los Angeles Auto Show is the all-new Volkswagen Jetta. Due to go on sale in March, the Jetta - first introduced in 1980 - is the best-selling VW in the U.S., accounting for 40% of sales. The 5th-generation Jetta will be offered in both 4-door sedan and 5-door wagon body styles and for the first time features fully-independent suspension. Power is provided by a choice of 2.0-liter, 115 horsepower 4-cylinder or 2.5-liter, 150 horsepower 5-cylinder engines.
