    UNREACHABLE VETTEL WITHIN TOUCHING DISTANCE OF THE TITLE AFTER SINGAPORE WIN

    Sebastian Vettel is just one point away from clinching the world championship after another dominant performance in the Singapore Grand Prix. Only Jenson Button stands in his way, but a single point from any of the remaining five races will do it for him.

    It was Vettel’s ninth win of the season, he joins Michael Schumacher and Nigel Mansell as the only drivers who have won nine races in an F1 season. It was also the 19th of his career. Amazingly, having led almost 600 laps this year this was the first time this year he has led a race from start to finish!

    Jenson Button had another strong weekend with second place, which consolidates his position behind Vettel in the drivers’ championship and takes him further ahead of team mate Lewis Hamilton in the points race.

    HERES THE MATHS ON VETTEL BECOMING CHAMPION IN SINGAPORE

    As I said in my qualifying post, Vettel has been untouchable all weekend in qualifying and race pace and only a misfortune of some kind will rob him of victory tomorrow. He easily has the pace to win.

    Thanks to Sean Kelly, who goes by the soubriquet of Virtual Statman and is the stats guy for many of the TV companies working in F1, here are the permutations which will clinch it in Singapore.

    If Vettel wins:
    Alonso needs to be off the podium
    AND
    Webber/Button finish no higher than 3rd
    Hamilton is automatically eliminated
    (This scenario happened in Australia and Spain this year)

    If Vettel is 2nd:
    Alonso needs to be no higher than 8th
    AND
    Webber/Button need to be no higher than 5th
    AND
    Hamilton must not finish ahead of him
    (This scenario has not happened at all this season)

    If Vettel is 3rd:
    Alonso needs to be no higher than 9th
    AND
    Webber/Button need to be no higher than 7th
    AND
    Hamilton must not finish ahead of him
    (This scenario has not happened at all this season)

    If Vettel is 4th:
    The title cannot be decided in Singapore

    309 = VET's points.
    He has joined Nigel Mansell and Shumy for the number of wins in a season and still he got 5 more races to go.

    Did you guys see HAM and MAS confrontation?
    That was bit intense.

    Almost everyone in Pakistan is doing corruption to the extent they can. Our leaders are doing at the level they can do. So why should we complain?

    Default Sorry Guys

    @m_waqas and Blackeye117
    Sorry Guys, could not make it. I was alright but my nani was admitted in the hospital for operation to remove stone from her pancreas in the afternoon. My whole family was their and I forgot to take my cell phone in a hurry, so can't inform you guys. I have just returned from the hospital after she was transferred to the room. Sorry you guys have to wait for an hour and also I have just seen that you guys have done 7 calls and 2 msgs. I was so looking to meet you guys and I hope you guys would understand my situation and accept my appology.
