Thanks for pointing that out, but I can't change the times in that topic as it is closed so I will post those times here. First a bit clarification, Michal was second with just 15 mins before the end of session but later that time been disallowed because he cuts a chicane during that lap. Now the interersting thing is when I first posted the time it was showing Michal second but now when I checked it is showing Michal 7th.

Bro, excellent effort but sorry I have made the decision already. I promise that for the fantasy thread I will ask you to design some thing using RedBull.

Can you please elaborate your question because what I understand is you want the width of the calendar to be shortened but the width is already a bit too short is not it. May be you want the height of the calendar to be shortened, I think cutting the calendar instead of one piece into 4 could work, let me see what I can do.

Are you sure you are replying to some one here, if yes then what is $155 for, what event you are referring.

    LOL. You are too kind.
It was just a simple copy and paste.
And since its your thread, I will not put the RB pic on main post.
But I still think that RBR car should be there because of their wins.

Todt says new tracks must provide overtaking to get license

FIA president Jean Todt has hit the media trail in a limited way over the past couple of weeks – particularly in Italy – and has put some interesting ideas out there. Among other things he stated that any new circuit hoping to get an FIA licence will be assessed as much for spectacle as safety. He has even suggested that circuits should be ranked by entertainment value.

Vettel Lands 3 Million Euro Bonus!

Sebastian Vettel's championship bonus tallies a cool EUR 3 million, according to the German newspaper Bild.

It emerged after Red Bull won the 2010 constructors' championship that the team is paying its entire staff - more than 500 people - a healthy monetary bonus.

Reports said the bonus is 10,000 British pounds each.

But Bild claims that only basic employees are receiving the EUR 12,000, with higher-paid engineers all getting up to 50,000.

The newspaper said the bonuses are costing Red Bull millions, "and champion Vettel is getting three of them".

Bild said Red Bull Racing's total championship windfall under the prize-money clauses of the Concorde Agreement is a whopping EUR 73 million, payable in four installments.

Team owner Dietrich Mateschitz told Die Welt newspaper that formula one team budgets currently range between "probably 100 and 500 million euros".

"Our budget is roughly in the lower mid-range," said the billionaire.

Red Bull confident it won't lose Vettel to rivals

Red Bull is planning to keep 2010 world champion Sebastian Vettel for at least the next three to four years, but is willing to break his contract if the car becomes uncompetitive.

"Seb wants to drive for Ferrari some day. We will make it as difficult a decision for him as possible."

Porsche Ready To Return To F1 In 2013?

The new chairman of Porsche, Matthias Mueller, made the shock announcement at the 2010 Paris Motor show that Porsche were considering re-entering F1. He stated that it was no longer desirable for Porsche to be competing with sister company Audi at Le Mans. However, many people were still sceptical with memories still fresh of the recent withdrawals of Honda, BMW, Toyota and Ford. Indeed, Toyota became famous for failing to win a single race on an annual budget of $400 million. This was a statistic that literally reduced the Toyota chairman to tears when announcing the car manufacturer’s withdrawal from the sport. BMW meanwhile, now focus their attention on the German Touring car championship, citing a closer link to road car developments as the reason. However, in F1’s favour is the fact that it is hugely popular, and manages to pull in 600 million viewers worldwide every year.

^ now thats gonna be good news..

@m_waqas: yes i remember whose pics i have to take and the tickets to the ferrari world cost around 165AED to 225AED i presume, which is around 5200pkr, way too much for going in a park but worth the experience. InshAllah m hoping to go there. and not to forget, the pre and post race activities are also way too much exciting around the Yas Marina Circuit. you know concerts and all. a friend of mine recently went to abu dhabi a few days before the grandprix and here are some pics she took of the pre race activites:

^ very cool.. thanks for sharing... but pics look dry without ahem ahem ... will be waiting for your version ...

here is some more of Kimi for eddie and myself..

    Kimi's end of year report

At the end of his first season of World Championship rallying with Red Bull, we caught up with Kimi Räikkönen to find out his best memories. There are lots of things that will stick in his mind forever from this year – including sand, public transport, shopping centres and the Pope. Eclectic enough for you? Then read on…

Did you ever think about going back to Formula One next year?

Of course I thought about it, because you think about everything. But I never really thought seriously about it, because actually I didn’t miss Formula One at all this season. Before the start of this year I thought it would be interesting to see if I missed it at all and in fact I didn’t.

Was the Rally of Spain, where you crashed in the shakedown, the biggest disappointment of the year?

Yes I suppose so, but actually it’s not something that I’ve really thought about much since it happened because there’s no point. It’s over, it’s history and there’s no point in imagining what might have been. That’s how I’ve always dealt with things and I’m not going to change now.

^ me and kimi think alike ...

The 2010 Season Review in pictures

The 2010 Season Review - A rollercoaster to the end

The 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship was touted as one of the greatest seasons ever. And as Abu Dhabi marked the only time in the sport’s long and glorious history that the battle for the title went down to the wire between four drivers, it more than lived up to expectations.

    Good weekend, bad weekend

As the sun sets on the incredible 2010 championship, itv.com/f1 provides a final round-up of who had a glorious time in Abu Dhabi and who will be glad when it's 2011.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was a GOOD weekend for...

    Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull
    McLaren
    Renault straightline speed
    Tony Fernandes

But the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was a BAD weekend for...

    Fernando Alonso
    Mark Webber
    The Abu Dhabi track layout
    Williams
    Tonio Liuzzi

Steve is a strange guy. Don't know why he'd make a nice thread and then stick an obsolete car with no pedigree, an awful color scheme and one, no longer in F1 on the page Anyway, his thread, his rules. He does put in a lot of effort to provide us with latest information about racing so a big thank you to him again for everything he does.

I can only assume Steve has a secret thing for Jenson Button or maybe Ross Brawnand thats why he is sticking to that eye sour of a car. It must be the whole being manhandled stuff that Paula told us about

^ good for u buddy.. do i need to remind u whose pictures u need to take there most ??
    Stop corrupting the kids!!

Lose you will, not to Ferrari, they are not interested for another six odd years. But he will move to Mercedes in the next couple of years.

^ no more Tilke?? .. i guess UK would be happy to read that.
Not really. He is still alive and helping with that stupid Austin track. I won't be happy until some of his boring tracks are off the calender. Unlikely to happen though Our resident drug dealer won't even order a hit on him.

I would have preferred a picture like that, the one of Red Bull. Be it, it's a 2008 car. Could find one like that of RB6 too I'm sure

    @UK
Bro, I only decided to stick with that image as it was the first image that I recieved in my mailbox with a request to make it the official fan club image. From next year I will put a tender for the new image and then put all the images here for the poll to decide which should be selected. Right???

As for your choices they are excellent and I think I will use it for the Fantasy League thread if @aref likes it.

    @genius83

Lil bro, it's all fun and games since the season has ended and we wait for January when new cars will be launched and testing begins in February.

As for putting the next image up for voting, I don't think you should do that. You will receive a rude message, We are faster than you, we are faster than you. Can you confirm you understand that message?

Ferrari don't lose, they change the rules If you count the regular Ferrari supporters on this thread, we'll win and a Ferrari will grace almost all up coming threads. We might even change rules, making new accounts to win the poll

More like not think at all I'd say

Here is one from my side. Had to dig it up. Not nearly as nicely made as the one you posted, but here is something from the man, Frank Williams used to call his " Pass Master "

I always thought there was more flair in what this guy did and more swagger

And he was not afraid to speak his mind either. No monosyllabic answers

Come back, Luca Badoer, all is forgiven.
