    @UK
    You got it wrong, the car that was damaged was No. 2 car from the team who has won both the titles in the previous season. The pic related season was a landslide victory for the defending champion and team.
    OR
    May be you want the current WDC and WCC to retain their titles.

    Very early to draw any conclusions. Only had the first session and the picture will probably not become clear until we go back to Europe as teams and drivers come to terms with new rules and Pirelli crap which this year are being called tires.

    Few things to notice from the first session.

    - Huge chunks came off Pirellis on Red Bull after 8 lap stints. More so from Vettel's left tire.
    - Webber's fastest time only came on a new set of tires towards the end. So he isn't exactly 4/10ths quicker than Vettel this season magically.
    - Red Bull, as expected looked strong and so did one Ferrari driver, who was within 1/100th of Vettel's time before both Red Bulls extended the gap right at the end.
    - Massa was struggling again. Went off at one time as he forgot to close the rear wing slot and later in the session while going into turn one locked up badly, flat spotting his right front
    - Mclaren does not look as bad as it did in testing. Speed seems to be there and they have copied Red Bull and Ferrari. exhaust solution
    - Some story about Mclaren having a bigger flap on it's rear wing compared to other cars, thus NOT allowing it to dump as much drag as others.
    - Running order seems more or less as testing showed and as was the case last season unless Toro Rosso is sand bagging.
    - HRT are sand bagging too much
    - Mercedes might have been working on a different program with each driver. If not, the gap is even bigger between the two drivers.

    @genius83

    No, i think i was quite clear. It's a Ferrari and i said as long as Ferrari have a season like 2002, your avatar is fine. Starting with previous year's car or something doesn't change it being a Ferrari

    Anyway, as you can see I am supporting my new team, Red Bull, so no worries. We'll smoke the rest of the field
    Come back, Luca Badoer, all is forgiven.

    Default F1 Medical Car

    While the obvious attractions of the race are the Formula One race cars themselves, a few other tricked out vehicles are gearing up to make their services available for the 2011 season. Serving as the official medical car is the 2012 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG Estate. Despite already serving the same role for the past three seasons, the C63 AMG Estate that will be used this year comes with a number of improvements, from a refreshed design, updated technology, and of course, a performance upgrade.

    All of these refreshments and upgrades still underlie the car’s official purpose out on the track for all the races of the 2011 Formula One season. It’s there to provide immediate medical assistance for any harrowing crashes and, while all of us are probably united in saying that we hope that we don’t ever get to see this car out on track, it’s always a good idea to have a car as capable as the C63 AMG Estate to be on-call when an accident - or worse, tragedy - strikes.

    that is awesome, i like the all new C63 AMG Coupe its awesome just brilliant and astonishing just like CLK AMG. and my favorite SLS AMG.WoW just super awsome, SLS is the best, much much much better thn the 458.

    @All
    Is StarSports showing at your side because I don't have StarSports since morning and if it don't come back then no qualy and race for me.

    Also, starts registering your fantasy teams and those who have teams should update them as soon as possible before the qualifying starts as the game then will be locked till the end of the race. All the participants have to predict the fastest race lap time and qualifying positions for their selected drivers.

    Mclaren and Pirelli in better shape than expected
    The first day of Free Practice in Melbourne was interesting, if not spectacular and two organisations who appeared to be struggling in testing look in better shape than anticipated.
    As well as showing good reliability all day, McLaren drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton set the top two times in the second practice session, prompting team principal Martin Whitmarsh to assert that the one second a lap gain the simulators indicated the team had found on the car was indeed real.

    @genius83

    Checked, and yes it's showing here at least. Not that it's of any use to me, sorry I like you but i cannot stand your commentary So it's back to all those websites for me and the usual German, Spanish commentators. If i am lucky, i`ll find a stream that is carrying BBC.

    I missed FP2, but seems like my team Red Bull and Ferrari are still holding back. Their times have come on relatively longer stints compared to others.

    HRT should fail to qualify and hopefully Virgin racing too. Paula's guy did a great job with Lotus
    Come back, Luca Badoer, all is forgiven.
