Thats really a great news.
The people that can afford Rolls Royce would not be hurting the local auto industry at all, as they are used to the True Luxury and have been riding in nothing less than a Mercedez or Lexus or other top brands anyway and do not even think of buying the 12 or 13 Lakh Rupees local Corollas or Civics.
So, its really a good step, to introduce REAL Luxury brands. The Lexus and other brands should also be marketed in Pakistan to let the people know what True Luxury cars look like. Hint: It is Not Corolla 2.0D or Honda Civic, those are known as Small ECONOMY cars, around the world, but in Pakistan the local makers have made the people think that those economy cars are luxury cars. LoL.
So, Good effort, to Finally introduce the Super Luxury cars, for the first time in Pakistan. The automakers around the world will notice it, provided that the number of Luxury cars like Mercedez, Lexus, Porsche, BMW, Cadillac etc. are sold in Thousands, not just 5 or 10 a year.
Rolls Royce will not sell more than 5 or 10 a year in Pakistan but thats also not bad.
Even in US, the richest country in the world, hardly a 100 Rolls Royce are sold per year. Also the Ferrari, another Super Sports Cars in the same price range as Rolls Royce, make 200 or so cars a year and USA customers buy 100 or so, almost 50% of the Ferraris and other Super Sports, Super Luxury cars.
I have just seen 1 Rolls Royce in Detroit Suburb area, and probably 2 in Virginia state. Those are sold very rarely even in USA, 99% of Americans can not afford to buy a Rolls Royce.
