I recently got in to an argument with a fellow Pak wheeler over handling of Second Generation City Vs. Suzuki Baleno & Corolla Indus.
What do you guys think? Which car handles the best in 1300cc class?
corolla gli....latest and 2008 new shape is best.......city is not goood baleno is dalda ka dabba moulded......
I think 1999-2002 city handles pretty well...
Among those you asked City 2000~2003 is best,Corolla 100 series(Indus) is also good only if equipped with JDM suspension and for those voting for Baleno i would suggest to take Baleno for a skilled test drive.
Baleno also has good handling and road grip. But city is better n these options.
Agreed. We had a Baleno Glip and it used skid all over the place. It was fun driving it down the circular fly over exits.
The city was great. But the Baleno wasn't too bad either. Bad experience with the Indus.Amongst the three, City by far.I so wish the snot-nosed trunk-squished city had never come here
i will put corolla on no 1 spot of this ranking........
Mitsu Lancer whips the ****es of all Pak-assembled cars!
if you are talking abt 1999-2002 models then
1)City
2)Baleno, / will give a tough time to City
3)Corollla , till 2008 was no match for the above cars, however after 2008 Corolla have improved much regarding handling..
Yep the latest corollas have a better handling. So does the civic...
but only the new shape corolla, prev shape rolla was just so so
If the discussion is not restricted to above mentioned 03 cars then yes Lancer is z best but ever experienced Nissan Sunny.
The older Xli/ Gli shape was a handling disaster. So was the 2003 - 08 City.
Civic? Did it ever came in 1.3 version(local assembled)
Nops was just discussin the shape in general.
well buddy Pak assembled Indus corolla suck only Japanese corolla are a gem and baleno is also a great car but because of stupidity on our people it didnt catch onand lastly City 2nd gen was the best city ever awesome drive and functions
Close your eyes and go for Indus you will love the drive as far as city is concerned it will start vibrating like hell when it crosses 120km/hr mark whereas indus gets more smooth and for baleno 1.6 gti is good but suzuki hai yaar
Why are people so worried about 'road grip' are you going to Autocross on the car or something?
It does not vibrate over 120...
