    Thumbs up JDM station wagons are becoming popular in Pakistan

    We see many Applied 4 Reg. Toyota Probox everyday
    JDM station wagons are becoming popular in Pakistan -306162

    Not too many but still many Nissan AD Vans (2006-07)
    JDM station wagons are becoming popular in Pakistan -306168

    And also, Mitsubishi Lancer Van (i've spotted two, one near zero point and other one for sale outside Car dealer's office)

    Looks nice
    JDM station wagons are becoming popular in Pakistan -306177

    All these vehicles are basically used as 'mini truck/van' for delivery purpose with in Japanese cities. However, they can be converted into family car easily. Personally, I prefer wagons over sedans. . .

    The following reasons are behind the popularity of these wagons;

    * Cheap prices
    * Engine Displacement remain under 1500cc limit (Nissan AD is 1.3 petrol engine)
    * More space than a sedan, you can put a lot of luggage even with a CNG tank

    Safety 1st!

    station wagons r tru family cars & i think they have to import in large numbers to cope with need, best solution for big families

    toyota indus should start station wagon locally

    Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    went to jail road to see an idsi for sale. the showroom guy suggested to buy a station wagon "nissan wingroad" instead, didnt by it but it was awesome, the seats seemed to hold me, the interior was more spacious than our civics, the boot was so big that 4 cylinders could be mounted. and the engine was 1.5, the car had the smell of a new car and it was for 14 lac, who would care for resale if he likes it as these japanese imports are quite durable, and they are cheaper than getting a low quality local corolla

    Yesterday I saw Lancer's station wagon and it was awesome. I really liked it but do take in consideration what Xulfiqar has said above.

    Remember to thoroughly check these cars as these are drivens like Hi-roof has been used in Pakistan. For the same function.
    Nothing to see here.

    Nissan Wingroad, is not a commercial station wagon, So if its in the range of Toyota Probox, its a better choice. I havnt seen the interior, but theres one in my neighbour hood. Doesnt looks as gud as a Feilder, But its better then what are we getting for 10 lacks.

    interior is a mix of black and silver, seats are better than that of reborn, engine was 1500cc on what i saw, the boot was very nice and big, and its floor was padded with soft foam, it was like u cud use the boot to sleep, much more luxurious than any local car i have seen including new corolla and city, the best thing was legroom, i always have a problem that my knees touch the dash but here there was ample space, the car was also a little bit low not high like other station wagons, but the showroom guy said 14 lac, i didnt bother to bargain as i wasnt buying it

    on friday (before eid) i was on my way to haripur from isb throuh motor way (i never pushed idsi much coz of less stability at high speed n poor brakes grip n handling ) i was on 140 almost when probox crossed me (definelty he was on 140 + ) then i floor the pedal n when i crossed it again i was on almost 170 some thing (but very bad exp it was like i am flying in air with no wheels under
    as compared to idsi liana even had much stability n grip at 150 plus

    Nissan AD Van seems to be a good option in its price range. Any comment on spare parts availability in Rwp/Isb? new or Kabli (Chah Sultan)?

    Fielder is a good car considering its price tag(1300k-1500K)....
    Although it is spacious but it does'nt have 3rd row seats (unlike Toyota Wish) which is a disadvantage for bigger families......
    1)Suzuki Mehran has changed its shape 2)Fake parts drive me nuts
