Lotus F1 team committed to name despite end of title sponsor deal
Lotus has terminated its title sponsorship deal with sportscar manufacturer Group Lotus, AUTOSPORT can reveal, but remains wholly committed to keeping the famous name in Formula 1 for the future.
This is farcical:mad: I have no clue who and what team it is now. Is it a Renault, or Lotus, if so which Lotus? If Proton one was sold as the story goes then why is it being connected to this one, didn't that Lotus become Caterham:S Am clueless. Well, in my defense so is Kimi:-# as he so eloquently put it on top gear:D
Ross Brawn denies Mercedes's DRS system is expensive to copy
Ross Brawn has hit back at suggestions that Formula 1 teams will face an expensive development race if his Mercedes team's DRS system remains legal and they have to copy it.
They don't need to copy it because they are going to take your system away. They are going to appeal against it in China. The only reason Red Bull and Renault didn't do so earlier was because they wanted to give FIA some more time and your team didn't score much in the first two races.
The lawyers will decide the outcome, not Charlie.
Ma Qing Hua joins HRT's young driver programme
HRT has announced Chinese driver Ma Qing Hua as part of the Spanish squad's new driver development programme.
HRT has a young driver program:confused: What is he going to do, carry drinks
The team said Qing Hua "could take to the wheel" of its car in the young driver test later this year if the results of the partnership are "satisfactory."
Meaning what, if HRT survive the season? Vettel might have something to say about that:D
@genius83
Sir, unless you are talking about the VW collaboration, i don't know which car the 914 was based on. All i know is the 914 was a replacement of 912. And i wouldn't have known even that had one of my cousins not been in love with Porsche. He probably thinks it's the best thing since slice bread. Our Paula like Porsche too, doesn't he? errr i meant she:S
Yeah, STAR network is owned by Rupert Murdoch. There must be some issue with territorial rights probably. His son is a major share holder is Network TEN; that shows F1 in Oz.
I can't think of a reason why it can't be done but STAR have stayed away from an arrangement like that for most of it's existence. In 1993, they had Murray Walker and for 1994 they had Murray Walker then switched to Andy Smith a few races into the season . He carried on for a few years. Allen McNish had a brief spell, i think two years with Star Sports in 1995-96 along with Andy Smith.
For 1997 Star took the feed from ITV and we had Murray Walker again. This time partnered by Martin Brundle. I think it was some where in 2000-2001 that this thing called Steve slater, wrath of the almighty arrived on the scene and has not left since.
Maybe people here happen to like Steve Slater a lot more than me. I know Paula likes Steve;) But seriously, i don't know how Steve Slater or for that matter Paula malai whatever irritating woman have held on to this gig for so long. I can understand how Paula malai whatever thing holds onto her show, she must be good at something:S hosting a show about F1 is clearly not it, but how Steve Slater survived is the greatest mystery of our time.
to me every institute sucks.. from Montessori to school to college to universities to coaching centres to ........ :S i think u got my point

Paula needs to check on you ASAP. You might be talking of assignment is a totally different way to what we think it means:-#:-# Please take it easy. No need to learn so much so quickly and if you must then I'm sure Steve would offer Paula, or so i hope. She's been around the block;)
