    Default A/T vs M/T

HI GUYS, how many of you find Auto Cars more fun to drive than manual ones and i think M/T cars are not a real fun to drive because comfort level is less as compared to the auto ones!!!

pain in leg by pressing the clutch and you are 21 yrs old?? if this was a car built after 1970 and you had pain in your leg at such age, you need to get to the gym or start walking. Your comment is in the same category as the person who wanted power steering in a mehran.

in A/T one feels like being handicapped
in M/T one feels like fully in control
in M/T u talk to the engine and it whispers back and then u throw another gear and it roars and u push it
in A/T u put it in D and forget that there is any engine also out there, boring
A/T should be for ladies and old aged men only IMO

An automotive transmission created for people missing an arm or a leg.

An automotive transmission for people who do NOT know how to drive.

An automatic transmission is like training wheels on a bike. When you learn how to ride a bike, you lose the training wheels. When you learn how to drive a car, you take the automatic rental back and get a REAL car with a stick shift.

Auto is for woman thats why it is a box trany and manual is for men thats why it is called a stick shift.

Everybody has his own opinion and IMO auto is a peace of mind and well most Pakistanis are ignorant of auto or never drove one....its technology which off course made life easy...but as a teenager i loved to drive manual civic and it has its own pleasure...which u cant get from auto...

bro if thats so tht u r of the opinion that one feels like handicapped in driving auto then y to have engine in car,to be in full control it should be with pedals that more you move it,more it will will accelerate.plz dont get offended, technologies are for ease of man,and its step by step advancement in tech.its same way as you to some govt office and tells him to find a file and he will start looking in all ledgers and then go in file room where heaps of files are there, that clerk will not be familiar with use of computer and how to maintain database for ease for work.some guys have commented that for speed and thrill manual transmission is better, there is no thrill in speedy driving, quality is in safe driving, and speed kills.i have seen number of car and bike accidents due to over speeding, one should learn that with acceleration in speed a youngster feels thrill and it proves fatal for him and his family if he meets an accident.we should be mature in our thinking regarding speed.

For people like us who commute 35km daily in Karachi in about 2-2.5 hours of completely agonizing traffic auto is (without any doubt) the preferred choice. But make no mistake, I still love my swift.....

butt ache has to do with the design of seats, I personally hate japanese car seats, they are excellent torture devices.

I always prefer swedish car seats specially SAAB 9000 seats, they seem to be made by God himself. Next come german car seats, they are made for "drivers"..

Japanese seats are the equivalent of Gree, gremlin, dawlance AC systems compared to Carrier, Fujistu or General AC systems.

back to topic, if someone has a hard time managing a simple light clutch and steering of a small dibiya japanese car, specially at 21 yrs age then I would suggest to put down the Playboy centrefold and go for a longish walk.

well i love to go into more detail in human structure than structure of a car

but sadly debate cannot be continued here due to obvious limitations.
