13.50% is the highest rate of National savings, which is for widowers aged above 60 (bhebud certificates). which means 1125 per 100k per month plus taxes and zakat is not applicable on this scheme.

For Normal citizens, it is 11.60% p.a ( with 10% withholding tax)

On money is highly unpredictible, it may happen that when you get delivery, honda start delivering cars within 2 / 3 days. And yes it happened in the past, and people sold their cars at below the invoice amount, to release their blocked money.

Yes below the invoice, means at loss. When their 2 millions are stucked, and nobody buying that car, bcaz of its ready delivery, people prefer getting the latest invoice that too in their own name. So a person holding a car with a month old invoice in his name, will sell the car even at loss.

This own money thing is robbery and unethical specially if it becomes business practice. It is similar to the sugar prices increase when some butthole stocks a giant amount of sugar in his godown and sells it at higher rate because he is buying most.

And if you are willing to do such business - are you willing to pay income tax on this income?

^^ yes selling the car on premium is same as stocking the commodity to be sold at higher price (ذخيره اندوزي )

This is a real bad practice and restricted in our religion.

bro i don't think this premium on cars come under the heading of zakheera andozi.
As per my limited knowledge zakheera andozi is on specific things like sugar rice etc and not on luxury items. Correct me if i am wrong.

own is like hoarding. you will be "hoarding" honda civic and taking advantage of the people waiting to buy it.
but then honda civic is not a necessity of life.

Cannot say its haram or hilal. But it is NOT HONOURABLE in my opinion.

matter of common sense here.the ones who do this sort of business are blackmailing people by offering them something they cannot have in a minute. no need to look any further than this. no need to obtain logics. its ethically wrong.

there are a fraction of people who save their hard earned money to go for such cars. and by getting a civic you will be creating a delay for them for the delivery of the car. its blackmailing in a way.

as a Muslim try not to take away the slightest of anyone's rights. caring for the most clearly specified halal and harams is not enough.

in today's age you are considering a medium sized car as luxury? If yes then sugar is also a luxury you can live without it easily. This model of business is completely corrupt - and please explain to me under what category would this be taxed?

    ^take it easy bro..

Like i said before i was not 100% confirm on the stance.

But if you compare car with sugar i surely disagree with you. Sugar is an eatable necessity that is used in almost every food item. Even an ordinary man has to consume it.
But coming to rides, an ordinary man cant afford it and only those who are rich can afford it.
Would you consider how much population of Pakistan own cars? A fraction of it!
Secondly, you don't have to buy a car and that specifically a newly launched Honda civic. One can easily go for a less costly car or opt for some less costly means of transport..

p.s. i am not a dealer or anything and have never myself indulged in this own thing but i think we should ask some trustworthy scholar for confirmation on this issue.

I totally disagree with all this stuff about it being unethical and haram. The logic behind it is simple you have money you invest in booking a car, you tie up your cash for two months and risk the fact that you may make a profit or lose money. As for the fact of it being hard earned money and hoarding, one person books wht 4-5 cars max that's all, which can't not be considered as hoarding since they have booked it not parked it in their place. If people are using the hard earned cash argument the why don't they book and wait for the car. Simple demand and supply
as for the original question, I would say go for it but know you may make some good money or may lose some money.you need to consider a number of factors. My personal advice would be that you don't book it now, you wait for a delivery time in jan 1st week preferable so you get 2013 invoiced car... People will pay you for that. I had booked one in black and received delivery three days ago and it was sold within the same day at a healthy profit . I am now waiting for 2913 delivery cars to get booked ( however I go with the idea that if the car doesn't sell I'm fine with using it st home, so not really a risk for me)
    goodluck

BUying a car in the hope of selling it at a higher price because of its shortage in market is called HOARDING=HARAM.

So if thats the intention of the OP, this ON/premium thing is not the halal thing he should be looking for. A halal business should involve some kind of value addition to the commodity, or import/export something.

What if someone is not muslim? Please share your expert opinion keeping the haraam / haram.

    In fact it is halaam.
