I've got Margalla 97 which I got converted on CNG abt a month back. Now the problem is that the car gets too low i.e the trunk of the car gets too low as if it is abt to touch the ground with only 2 persons in the backseat. Got it checked by the mechainics... some say get the shocks changed while others say get the springs changed... I got 1 inch packing put there but it still gets low... plz tell me should I get the shocks changed or the springs changed?? Anybody....
you dont need to change your springs. OEM springs have a wide rate of depression and can take alot of load. you can perhaps upgrade your shocks or struts to some better quality ones.
Tokico, KYB, Tein, Buddy Club, Koni are some top brands.
Margalla shocks dont last long with constant weight of cylinder in the boot. change the shocks or if you dont want to spend alot, get them oil filled.
Hello!yeah looks like shocks are totally given up that car was much lowered.............if you replace the or refill them...make sure that u put either spacers or put some more heighted Coil Springs with much more coil overs than your stock one..in order to prevent damage to shocks again and also for much car lowering from back.............thats your requirment wheather you put how much bigger springs....but don't put local made springs.......Lahori made....they are damn hard and make suspension much stiff.....try some JDM old ones from either Corolla or SUnny or any other good one which suited bestThanxxx
