    Default BMW Information Required!

I was reading the price list of BMW.
Got something that i wanna ask.

Below every Code of particular Series like E91 3Series something like Cou, Cab, Lim...etc is written.

For E64 6 Series i think CAB mean Cabriolet (sorry for spellings).

For X3 and X5 SAV means Sports Activity Vehicle.

For E85 and E86 Z4 the ROA means Roadster.

    For R50, 52, 53 HAT means Hatchback

Am i right? If i'm then tell me what does these mean. If I'm not right then tell me what is meant by all these 3-letters words.

    6Series E63 Cou
    5Series E60 Lim
    3Series E46 Cou & Cab
    3Sereis E90 Lim
    3Series E91 Tou (isn't that Touring?)
    1Series E87 Com

Nothing is there for E65 7Series. Why?

Also tell me what do Ci, i & Li mean?

    Yes CAB is Cabriolet (Convertable)
SAV is Sports Activity Vehicle (SUV)
    HAT is HatchBack (5 door)
    Cou is Coupe (2 door)
    Lim is limousine (4 door)
    Tou is touring (Station Wagon)
    Com is Compact
Ci is for Coupe (I believe in US only, 325Ci, 330Ci)
    I is for sedans (545i, 330i)
BMW is getting rid of the Ci, the new 3 series coupes will be 328i and 335i and not Ci's.
Li is for 7 series, L is the extended wheel base version, where you get more legroom in the rear seats (L for limousine)

    Hope this helps.

The last alphabet, 'i' as your quoted indicates the engine type. 'i' is petrol engine and 'd' is diesel engine.
