    Default Advice needed from experts, Coure 95

    Hello ..I have a coure 1995 ..my question is : it vibrates on initial pick up and sometimes it do sometimes not..I got it checked by mechanic and he told its a clutch plate problem ..But I m not facing any problem like heating ..pickup .just vibrating problem

    My another question is yesterday I drove the 2004 model coure and its steering is soo soft compared to my coure easy to turn ..
    If i change/replace my steering with the new coure steering ..will it give me same drive? ( easy moving /turnings )

    Suggestions required soon .

    As for the first problem... check th Clutch Plate or the Pressure Plate... I guess there will be some problem with one of these or both. Can't say anything about Problem 2.

    as for the first problem well i had almost the same type of problem and well when i used to let go of the clutch in my cultus in 1st gear it made the vib noises and well at first i too thought that it was the clutch or the pressure plate but then it turned out to be the underpipe of my exhaust / siliencer (get that checked)
    as for the second prob well if ur talkin jus abt the steering WHEEL then it wont help try installin power steering itll set you back around rs.3000 hope this helps

    Your first problem seems to be clultch/pressure plate problem. For the second problem, first of all check the tyre pressure or the tyre itself, then get checked the alignment.......

    sometimes it vibrates sometimes not .. and I know abt the exhaust pipe its leak ..and the person says that the silencer is "chowk" but does it really create the problem or is it pressure/clutch plate problem ?

    @trojan:

    About the steering you should give indus motors a call or better pay them a visit e.g. Toyota Defence Motors, they have highly technical guys who know what they are doing. Get advice from there, then try to find the parts as some remove from accidented cars.

    In my opinion it should be possible and something is between the steering and the shaft but not something which can be termed a true "power steering"

    coure does not have power steering, check the ball ball joints, and steering assembly/ends, need lubrication.

    brother relax
    go to some mechanic and ask him to take off its clay. he will wash it properly and fix it then you will enjoy the ride
    for the first problem. change your clutch plate else you must have to change your pressure plate too. though replacement of both will do majik have fun

    @robin:

    agreed and that is what I said. However, you should go and test drive a cuore to understand what @trojan means when he thinks his steering is tougher than models 2004 and above.
