    Default Imported Oils & Prices

    Brothers,

Yesterday I went to Filter house who are the keeper of import oils also (:: Filters House Solve your All Filteration Problems Lahore Pakistan ::)
Filter House has opened its 5th outlet in Lahore right on the Ferozepur road in front of Qaddafi Stadium and right adjacent to Hamid Latif Hospital & Taj Mahel Banquet Hall.

Presently the oil 5/40 (which I am already using in my Passo and repeatedly accepting in my all posts that its very good oil) is gaining the popularity in the Pak. market.
This oil is neither as thinner like ZIC A+ 5/20, nor very thick like 15/40 or 20/50.
This is most perfect oil for Pak. and every company has introduced the same and its getting popular by hot cakes. Almost every company has introduced this oil 5/40 and I am happy that I was the first one who used it and my try was super satisfactory.

    Rates are as follows

Liqui Moly 5/40 Synthetic Rs. 5500/4L
10~12K Mileage for big engines (2000CC or above) but only 7~8K Mileage for 1000~1300CC engines.

    Mobil1 5/40 Synthetic Rs. 4800/4L
10K Mileage for big engines but only 6~7K Mileage for small engines.

    Volvoline 5/40 Synthetic Rs. 4600/4L
10K for big engines but only 6~7K for small engines.

PTT Performa 0/40 Super Synthetic Rs. 3800/4L (Best oil according to my personal ranking)
10~12K for big engines but only 6K for small engines.

ZIC XQ 5/40 Synthetic Rs. 3600/4L
10K for big engines but only 8K for small engines.

KIXX 5/40 Synthetic Rs. 3550/4L (Actually this is not fully synthetic oil)
10K for big engines but only 6~7K for small engines.

KIXX 5/40 Semi Synthetic Tin Pack Rs. 3500/4L (Caltex got Kixx's distribution in Pak.)
8K for big engines but only 5K for small engines.

PTT Performa 5/40 Synthetic Rs. 3200/4L (this one is also semi synthetic, but very very good oil)
8K for big engines but only 5~6K for small engines.

ZIC OW 5/30 Semi Synthetic Rs. 2800/4L
10K for big engines but only 6K for small engines.

    NEWS

Caltex has taken the distribution of Korean oil KIXX. Hence Caltex will import KIXX oil but will pack them by themselves here and will print "Made in Korea". Means again un-certain condition about the Quality.

But presently in order to beat Toyota's Tin pack oils, Caltex has imported KIXX's Tin pack oil with some new given name technology and trying to sell it.

Mobil1 is being distributed by MAL, printing on bottles as "Made in USA & packed in Singapore". But very high doubts. Because its being re-pack here in Pakistan by MAL.

Liqui MOLY, still trying to find out that either its being directly imported from Germany or some local agency has its distribution/re-packing. Am still working on it.
    No Guts, No Glory.

Amsoil 5w30 fully synthetic rs.5500/- 4quartz it is slightly less than 4 liter as in US packing in quartz, 4quartz= 3.786liter

I was using zic hiflo in my jdm 660cc manual. But with 20w 50 grade fuel mileage average decreases 18km/l to 15 to 16km/L. after 3000km i switched to Zic A (10w 40) now i am getting the same mileage 18km/L.
My Question. if i use liquimoly 10w 40. at what interval should i replace? i drive my car locally. Hardly 1500 km in a month

Anybody here uses Redline? My cousin uses redline 0W-40 in his BMW but its very expensive. He imports for himself. But i think in Pakistan Liqui Moly is Original but Mobil 1 is no more original. Caltex is also not good.

Its pretty damn expensive at Filter House LHR. Its for Rs. 4,500 here at the official LM dealers (Blue Area and I-8)

    Go to the website www.upcdatabase.com
type the bar code (6924914103173) of this oil and you will find its origin. I just checked and its 100% chinese oil.
In market distributors gives at rs. 2600/- to the shops and shops sell this oil at 3100~3200/4liter.
Quality of the chinese oil is never so good.
When did you change it? And how many miles you are planned to run on it?
I suggest plz dont drive more than 3500~4000 km.

i will recommend PTT Performa 5/40 (presently am using it).
And change it over after 5k. If you drive on the long routes, then change it after 6.5~7k.
    Absolutely no problem.

distributor gives shop 4L bottle at rs. 2850.
    And shops sell it 3000~3100/4l.

If you want to go little more superior, then use

    VOLVOLINE 5/40. Price 4500/4l
    or
    Liqui Moly 5/40. Price 4600/4l

kixx tin pack oil 5/40 (made in korea) is also good. Price rs. 3200/4l. But caltex took its distribution and hence will repacking this oil by themselves now and will make good money.
But if somebody has original Kixx's 5/40 made in korea oil, then this oil is also nice.

    Cheers.

type website UPC Database: in your browser
on the left hand, you will see "Actions"
near to that you could see "Look Up".
Click Look up and it will give a small box to type the barcode.
Type the barcode in the box, click go and it will give results.

i just check and it gave nothing. don't know why.

However, it would be better if you download the "Barcode Scanner" on your iphone and check by yourself instantly.

In my separate thread with subject "Original Liqui Moly Distributor in Lahore", i've given the contact detail of Liqui Moly's geniune distributor in Lahore. Its on Muslim town morre. Note down their address first.

Secondly, visit Liqui Moly or Mobil1's websites. they gave open options to choose Car, model, mileage, etc. etc. and they recommend by themselves that which oil would be the suitable for your car engine.
    hope it will help.

Yes results doesn't approve the originality of the product.
However, installing Bar Code reader on the iphone is always very comfortable. It takes hardly 30 seconds to download and install it in the phone. And its really helpful to scan "EVERY PRODUCT THAT HAS BAR CODE".

However, installing Bar Code reader on the iphone is always very comfortable. It takes hardly 30 seconds to download and install it in the phone. And its really helpful to scan "EVERY PRODUCT THAT HAS BAR CODE".

Actually I think UPCdatabase doesn't provide free services. First couple of times they read the codes very well but after that they ask to pay for premium membership.
Anyway, lets forget this upcdatabase and install the barcode scanner on your iphone. Its simply and pretty successfully read more than 95% codes & describe their origins as well.
