@genius83 Earlier there used to be turbocharged F1 cars, in that/those era(s) which teams were stronger? I mean which teams have good record with turbo?

McLaren dominated the '80s. Williams with Piquet was strong too- I believe all were running Honda power.

But tbh you can't compare the Turbo engines of the 80s to the turbo engines they'll be running this year. The FIA didn't really have intense regulation over ANY motorsport back in the '80s, so the power output was as much as the driver could handle without killing himself.

Thanks, I was not comparing. I just wanted to know the teams history with Turbo. A lot has been changed from 80's to the modern day. Looking forward for the season and I really hope the season doesn't get hijacked by one team There should be tough competition among at least 4 teams to have an interesting season.

My only wishlist for 2014 is for Williams to blow me away. Heard Martin Brundle speculate that the Mercedes engines will be the strongest. I think on that basis, Williams has a pretty good fighting chance.
Oh and second on the wish list is the radio message, "Alright Fernando. Kimi is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?"
EDIT: Just saw your avatar. I still stand by what I said
