    Dear all Assalam o Alaikum

    I have been using pakwheels since last many years and my personal experience is that Pakwheels is an excellent platform for all those people who want to buy, sell and discuss cars. Apart from this i have seen many threads in which members were seeking advice/help from senior members related to their car related issues. In order to facilitate all my brothers and sisters, I am pleased to announce free of cost advisory services to all Pakwheelers, specially to those who are new / layman in this field. I can help in the following fields particularly

    1. Buying / Selling / services ( local as well as Japanese/ Imported ) and budget based suggestions / best options and possibilities

    Using thick oil noise and vibration increased.I also don't understand what happened to it,,I didn't do any mechanical work to it,,,only oil changing from 5W20 to 15W40 increased the noise,,,,

    Dear brothers i need ur advice as i am planning on buying "KIA SPECTRA" kindly tell me about parts availability?
    driving experience? is it a good buy or not ? i want to keep this car on long terms basis.. are there any generic issues with the car" as bad breaking or bad suspension or weak chassis" ?

    Aoa. Moiz Bhai what should be the reasonable price of
    1. Altis auto SR 2010 silver 72 K ODO in good condition. ODO is not tempered. Maintained by a friend.
    2. Swift Auto 2012 white 65 K on ODO one piece painted. ODO is not confirmed. condition seems good.

    Dear Sir,

    I am using a 2003 Civic VTI oriel Prosmetic. It is 127,000 kms on the odo and run on petrol only. I bought it from a friend in Oct 2013 when it was 115,000 kms driven. During this time, I have realized that with 6,000 to 7,000 kms a year running, it is consuming too much. I drive upto 600 kms a month which includes major amount of pit-stops (for this it runs 290-300 kms in 38 litres of fuel) i.e. mostly running in khi, for small home errands and visiting relatives. twice a year outside Karachi to Hyderabad or Balochistan. Keeping my scenario in perspective and constantly depreciating cost of the car, please suggest me the following:

    1. Should I switch the car immediately to Toyota Passo 1.0 ltr version of 2011 or 2012 model OR 2007 model (previous shape).
    2. Should I switch to Honda City 2007-8 auto, but it has no ABS.
    3. Keep the car for another year and think about options next year.

    My priority is an Auto transmission vehicle and preferably a sedan but I need something that can give atleast 400 kms in 45 ltrs tank.
    The charm in Passo is only that its new, low mileage, fuel efficient, etc. What I dont like about it having a transmission on the steering.
    Or is there any other option I am missing? My budget would be 1 to 1.1 million.

    i am facing weird issue with my alto 2011 40k driven gear box.

    whenever i shift the gear to 1st from N it gets stuck a little (No sounds or grinding sound).

    whenb the car is cold the gear shift from N to 1st is very smooth but when car gets warm the gear shift to 1st from N gear hard, but on moving car when i slow down the speed and shift gear from 3rd to 2nd OR from 2nd to 1st it GETS REALLY HARD to put it.

    Any suggestions please? i changed Gear oil last month. poured in ZIC FF 75W85.


    NOTE:

    1- i have been told there is rubber GEAR KIT under the car that is causing this, if i get that rubber underneath the car changed it will get perfect again.

    2- I have also been told that it could be the pressure plate :/ considering the car has only been driven 40k in 4 years, is there any way to diagnose a weak/faulty PRESSURE PLATE or perhaps Clutch plate before i go get the gear box being dismantled (which is a nightmare for me)

    3- also been told it could be clutch cable? but rest of the gears are working fine.

    I had same problem with my 95 civic.(d15-B) shifting 1st to 2nd was hard when car gets warm and i was told by my mechanic whom i trust k "sir pressure plate or clutch plates new dalwa lain unka he masla ha gari kaafi din park rhee ha on 1st gaer so plates thori kharab ho gai ha because of strain that was on it" but i was like that car accelerates good and no issues other than a little hard 2nd gear, so i dint trusted him and for my satisfaction
    1) i replaced my clutch cylinders.
    2) changed gear oil
    3) adjusted clutch levels but none make it any different. the gear issue was still the same.

    and only the last resort was to change the pressure and gear plates. but i sold the car to get rid of it. (P.s: i informed the buyer about it)
    so in my opinion dont waste ur money doing other stuff go to you trusted mechanic and be done with pressure plate. it will definitely save u money.
    just go to a mechanic u trust.

    Dear price of altis will range between 13 to 14 depending on car condition... Price range of swift 10to 11 depending on condition ....
    The max upper limit is for an extraordinary neat and genuine car but lower limit is not for an accidented repair car .... Thats only for minor touching, interior and suspension condition

    Swift is best car pak suzuki ever made though it has resale issues and fuel economy is not best amongst other competitors. Clean pkdm swift 2013 would cost you around 10+ I guess

    No need to go for JDM when PKDM Swift does well (except it lacks VVT). If you plan to keep a car (rather than thinking about resale before buying) then go for Swift. It's a good car if you take care of it. 1328cc M13A DOHC 16V MPFI engine with immbolizer is worth giving a shot. I recommend to buy new one rather than used as you plan to keep it for long time.

    =>vitz F1.0 2012
    =>oct 2015 import
    =>50k driven
    =>4 grade..no touchups no repaints
    =>khi reg
    =>new tyres and rims
    how much is the car worth (btw owner is demanding 14.5)

    What are the main differences in Toyota Corolla GLI 1.6, ALTIS 1.6 and ALTIS 1.6 SR (Except air bags). If we are considering only the auto versions, Please also tell me about the estimated price of 2012-2013 models of each in clean and top condition. Which of these 3 is worth buying with respect to fuel economy, comfort and resale.

    Dear this is a very very high price considering it karachi registered and you from karachi .... Should not be above 13 lac in my opinion
