coming to the point, everyone does this and it is a shame for those defending this. when i was in Maldives, official sweepers were meant for the main roads only where there were mosques and official buildings. everyone was ordered to clear the mess in front of his house himself. it cleaned the entire street and thus the whole city.
here, no matter how educated we are, we remain indifferent to civilization. the sad part is that this is never taught in schools and children who ARE taught so find it funny when they see their dad doing the opposite. so, what exactly do we learn? i believe such littering in Singapore is a straight fine of $500. wish SSP Taimuri could have done this too before being posted so shamelessly by the govt.
