If you're a frequent car changer, then get the XLi. If you want to buy a car to keep for a long run and reliablity, then go for Lancer because a) it is not a local assembled brand b) the same model of Lancer is available elsewhere from equipment point of view. Indus Corolla on the other hand, lacks in many ways, whereas other Corolla equipped with much more than what is available here.

e.g. Corolla Altis I saw in fareast, the one side back light has reverse indicator whereas the other side has the red reflector, metal tags, and available in both 1.6 and 1.8 versions. Here the Altis lights has no such distinction as both back lights has reverse indicators, sticker tags, and only available in 1.8 as local 1.6 here has no VVTi Toyota engine.

First option should be Lancer GLX,second one Corolla XLI,third one Corolla 2.0D,4th one should be Suzuki Liana.
*Drop Honda City from your list.

2.0D...u'll enjoy a much better boot space plus a much better fuel economy..better boot space means no problems if u ever plan to take ur car on long journeys..wont lose much of its worth even..n if u dont plan to install CNG, go for XLI

    Go for
    "Corolla"
    (XLi) & consider
    "Lancer"
    as your 2nd option...!

U just hav to consider HONDA CITY VARIO STEERMETIC. And nothing else. Best in petrol w.r.t Fuel Consumption and POWER. It has got 1.5 VTEC engine under its hood and below is the prove how beauty the VTEC is.
