political answer?
lol
you yourself dont know what you are asking. You want ABS, EBD, VSC, etc etc etc.. at no cost - you also stated that the BIG 3 should reduce their profits because "Pakistani awaam is ghareeb and deserve a break"
That is a pile of BS - try floating "reduced profit" idea to a product manufacturer - Please do tell how it went
You are also assuming that vehicular manufacturers somehow set the standards for safety. They do not - independant decision bodies do that and governing road transport authorities decide whats necessary and whats not, ---- News flash for you ----- Road safety in Pakistan is from horse-cart and bullock-cart days. Try getting a vehicular external visual alert spec sheet from the ministry of transport of Pakistan, once you get it, do post it here.
Now lets round up the evil 3 in Pakistan (shame on them for running a business) - You yourself claim that they "should" provide these features "pro-bono" to give awaam a break - It wont happen, nothing in business comes free. Even your masjed is not free.
Coming back to my point of be content with what you have, reason I pulled in
chaabi ustaad
scrapmarket parts users
idiot hack mechanics
was to prove that vehicular ownership in Pakistan is heavily weighted (more than 99%) by availability of ultra cheap hack repair supported with scrapped parts. To oversimplify it (classic desi tradition) read my previous post of comparing two vans i.e. the Hiace and Sprinter.
In very ultra simple terms - when you have such technology in a vehicle your current local awaam aka buyers wont be able to afford its purchase or even repairs - because such features are not supported and neither repaired with scrap parts - meaning repair bills will suddenly average Rs 100,000/- rather than Rs 10,000/-
To cement my point - you have no answer to the repair of the automatic transmission I posted above (toyota A340E), you have no answer to any of the points other than automotive principle I posted.
Furthermore,
when you want a higher tech option - prepare to accept its purchase and support costs. Awaam in Pakistan wants highest security immobiliser but also want a replacement key for Rs 100/- for it. It doesnt work that way - (my vilayatee technology example is proven here).
So be content with what you have right now, if you try to change it for the better, you might shoot your own self in the foot, think of it this way, if you hear a law today that all engine swapped cars and frame repaired cars are not road legal anymore - What do you think the "awaam" will do? - buy new cars?
