If you want a hassle free hatch you could easily get Swift else you can go towards Used City.
Both are good options! Depending upon your needs!!!

Reborn is exactly what i was about to suggest u. if u can get ur hands on a clean one and know how to pamper cars. you ll be happy. i have owned both swift and city and was highly dissatisfied until i bought a reborn.

in order for a person to proper guide you, one needs thorough information.
    1) usage of the vehicle
    2) maintenance affordability
    3) Duration of which vehicle is required
    4) usage location
    5) fuel mileage affordability
    etc..
As for a reborn, its a vehicle with very low ground clearance, lots of blind spots and heavy on fuel. The plus points it has is handling and looks.

Right about blind spots. But ground clearance is just right. Not insanely high as corolla, mehran, alto etc. Plus fuel consumption is excellent.

It kisses 80% of the breakers, so it's not right. It does 9-12 km/l. Not good

I wouldn't term it excellent. 8-10 km/l in city is no where near excellent. Anyhow, I would suggest you against going for Reborn cos in this budget you won't get a clean one. A base model clean Reborn will be ~14 lac at least. Your best option is a city or a swift. You can get fairly low mileage cars within this budget. Can also get a super clean Eagle eye. Don't think you'll be able to get a good gli within this budget cos a clean low mileage city is ranging fro ~12.75 lac - 14 lac.

Swift is a good option..though it depends on u..ive seen swifts giving good as well as very bad fuel mileage at times...
Moreover, like me if you are not bothered much about the resale thingy that goes in pakistan and would just buy it for ur own pleasure / use for some years..then its perfect.
    cars cars and cars...

are you talking about the hybrid imported one? yes that one is low. but the Pakistani one hardly touches any speed breaker. i own one. its higher than city 09 / current model. and mileage: the worst i ve got is 11.41 kmpl and best 14.5 kmpl (on highway). firgures are for 08 model vti oriel prosmatec. consumption in normal driving is above 12.5 to 13.2 kmpl. but not in extra urban conditions.

Talking about the local one, countless people who own one complain about these things.

If you prefer a Sedan then get a 1.3 or 1.6 Lancer Auto 2005 to 2007 or Civic Oriel 2001-2006 model if you can afford their maintenance and parts. In Hatchbacks go for Vitz, Swift or Mira. You might also get a 2007 Toyota Prius if you are lucky.

Dependant on driving style and location. On average 21-23 in local. 18-19(@120). I achieved 26 off it a couple of times in local
