Default Need recommendation for insuring my 2011 Reborn

I have never insured any car in Pakistan yet so I have no idea how it works here. I need to get my car insured, please let me know which insurance company to go for. Please share your insurance claim experiences. I have heard getting a claim is a pain in Pakistan. I dont mind paying a little higher if the claim process is easier.

Also if someone knows please share how much would it roughly cost to insure a Reborn with invoice price of 2,013,000.

    Thanks

It can be insured but I think that they will do it at 10% depreciation rate per year of original invoice price. So 40 percent of 2,013,000 is 805,200.

I am not sure about it but you can call any insurance company and check with them. AGI (051) 111-444-687.
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

Thankyou. They are willing to insure at 1.6 million value of the car @ 2.51% = 40,160.

I am now waiting for a response from Adam Jee.

Had a detailed talk with the AGI guy.

So this is how it works. In case of accident if there are any parts that need change, we ll have to share cost at the rate of 10% per year. So if I need to get any parts replaced due to accident the next day I insure the car, I ll have to pay 40% of the cost as car is 4 years old. This is ridiculous.

Also, they couldn't tell me exactly what they'll pay me in case of total loss or theft. They say it would be equal to market value of the car but they don't have any way to tell the market value. The guy was like "Sir jee main ne apni gary bechy, bary hi achi condition main, itne paise milay so ap ki car ki itini value ki ho gi". wow such scientific method, much accuracy.

Adam jee has still not returned my call.

I had my new car insured for only the first year of ownership. New Hampshire Insurance. Their rates were quite high but they claimed minimum fuss in case of accident or theft. After the first year i never bothered to get it insured. I know its wrong but I didn't have that much cash to spare for insurance. So just pray to Allah and drive carefully.
