What to do if someone rear-ends your car?

As far as I understand it is always the fault of car at the back for not keeping distance.

What to do the the driver tries to pick up a fight? Or if he does not pay?

Yes in some countries, most notably Saudia Arabia, if someone rear ends your car, he's at fault... NO MATTER WHAT! Specially, if the car behind is driven by a 'dirty' Pakistani/Indian/South Asian, and the car up front has a Saudi Citizen, or worse, A PRINCE on-board! To them, we're annoying pests sucking on their economy...!
Anyhow, Whereas in Western Countries, insurance companies deploy 'DETECTIVES' to determine the reason behind the collision and which driver is at fault, provided its not already taped by a CCTV Camera... Which are literally everywhere in prominent and extremely populated cities like London for example! Reason? There, all cars are insured! Unlike here where man grab other man with his collar and humiliate him in the middle of a congested road...
Anyhow, hope you find it helpful...

you can call the cops, and they can try to make them pay.

Rear ending doesn't necessaeily mean the car at the back is at fault. Abrupt lane changing can cause accidents aswell. So, it's better if you first evaluate who was at fault then move forward with negotiations. If someone just switches lanes and comes in to the fastlane randomly, without looking back, he will be at fault.

yeah if car in front was going in straight line, braked and the guy at the back hit
his fault, (no matter what the reason for braking was )
if someone changed lane and comes in front and hits brakes cant blame the guy hitting from back

never swear or touch anyone. it will never resolve anything. end result will be zero with bruised ego or physical damage besides car
if the other party is becoming rough n not admiting call cops, request by passers to stop and witness the scene infront of cops
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

Loads of different factors get involve in rear end shunt but yeah most of the times it's the car at the back's fault. Witnessed a guy other day who simply reversed into the car behind him then drove off😱.
Regarding cctv in England at least police doesn't bother checking it in minor accidents lie these.
