    Default Engine number issue

    AoA.. I hv finalised deal of toyota passo 2007 1300cc with a friend..the engine number is written 0 in its registration book...can some one tell me why in engine number section 0 is wirtten without full engine number..thanks

    It shouldn't be 0. There is some issue in it. My guess is that car could have been imported without engine i.e only chasis has been imported and engine fitted afterwards, but that is only my guess but there is definitely some problem eve if not this. Better investigate before buying. It could cause problems afterwards..
