shann bhai if u r unsure, then it is better to go to any Car seller/buyer dealer, He will charge his amount (commision) in addition to govt. fees but he will guide you or go with you for guidance.
In Khi, we often take car registration number if satisfied from body & engine,
1.First From Civic centre Khi, in Rs. 70, we get detailed history/report/current owner/ tax credentials etc.
2.Then approach cplc for clearance & if we get satisfied then we give token money(Beyanna) almost 5K- 10K-15K to the owner.
3.After token money, we set a time ,at given time we reach there at civic centre & car owner bring all his documents with car & We make "Pay order" in name of owner . after which, in front of registration guy who check car chasis number, tikli & documents, & get documents verified. Then registration authority produces us receipt & we take car from owner, drive to home & parked there
4.after a day or 2, we get documents/ car owner registration certificate from there (Civic centre)
5.In the mean time, just at time of getting receipt, I also used to call my insurance company & they send surveyor who make pictures & make policy ready for me
