    Default Abusing Govt...?

Saw this car at Fortress, parked carelessely on a pile of marble stones - almost in the middle of the road. The front bumper was forced to stand over there to ensure some genuine fresh scratches. I must explain that wasn't a short parking, we came back after some half an hour & the car was still there.

Would you, or me, like to park our very own cars like that? Then why Govt. cars? These are ours, Govt. is ours & so are the Govt. funds !

I don't know why we say, 'Pakistan is this, Govt. is that, bla bla bla'
What is Pakistan? It's is not a hand full of sand from the land, WE are Pakistan, if we see something wrong in Pak, then there must be something wrong with us.

And I don't know HOW they say: they love Pakistan...
Do they love that muddy field over there? Or do they hug this broken road daily? Or is it the 'gandaa naalaa' they live for? NO SIR, if this is country's love then I don't love my country.

I think: to love Pakistan is to love Pakistanis, nations make countries. Just love your nation & automatically you'll be loving your Pakistan.
    Peace & love!

Dont hide the number plate all of us should see it

Not only Govt people do such stupid things on road, normal civilians also do

I have seen One rich aunty at F-8 Markaz near Rayyans braked sudenly while driving, right in front of our car

She opnned the door and went straight to ATM for fast cash

atleast 10 cars kept on waiting and honking untill she came back
Moderators' attitude / role should be "live and let live", or, "post and let post", rather than "Close, Move and Delete the post"

I get your point but I think @anonpak has realy hit the nail on the head.

Bro, not only it was parked on the road, but the point is: it was parked so carelessely on the pile of stones, no one would ever park his own car like that, but who cares if it's Govt. owned.

And what pisses me off are aunties and their daughters driving in gov cars with so much arrogance! I once came across this Aunty who nicked my car from the back and when I conronted her, she said how dare you, my husband is blah blah! I said your husband is that for himself you bi*ch, not for me! She showed me the finger and I broke her side view mirror. She drove away least bothered! Lanat hai in jayson par! I never cared who does who, or whose daddy is what, just bring it on!

this is a topic that will always have opposing opinions on both sides.

@racer....the notion of jumping ship itself underscores the fact that there is a big problem where you are living. pakistanis who live abroad dont necessarily hate pakistan..some of them talk bad of it but most of them are tolerant and believe me...if things werent as bad as they are in the beginning...there was no reason for anyone to leave the country.

the biggest issue in my opinion is.....DISPARITY OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL LIFE

meaning that there is a group of people (like alot of us on this PW forum) who are educated to a reasonable degree, above the common man on the street, we have desires and we look at the outside world and like what they do...how they live...the fun in life...and we all want that in our lives too...for us..our families and our future generation. when all that is not available...they look toward other options like moving out of the country....so these people should not be referred to as 'jumping ship'

the most basic thing that any government can provide you is the security for your life and property. leave everything else for now.....tell me this only...

Do you have any recourse in the event if somebody stops your car on the road in pakistan..asks you to give all valuables you have....and then shoot you in front of your family? if you have some uncle in the police or something...you may have a chance...but if you are one of the 99% of people....you cant do ****

what happened with sameer that day was not shocking to me..it was no surprise but it was just very unfortunate and despisable. what if they had roughed him up physically and had beaten him...imagine the stress that his wife, kids and family had to go through.....over what...nothing....he didnt do anything wrong.

the most basic thing is again....your personal security...and if you dont have it, you are living on edge
I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it..and so restriction of free thought and free speech is the most dangerous of all subversions.

    Aoa.

Right now in Pakistan there is only one rule, MIGHT IS RIGHT. Our government is actually illiterate, accept for few which have limited authority. I have lived in Saudia Arabia and while living there I started loving this country more than ever before, my father too had suffered hardship in this country, his car was stolen on gunpoint, he had to give corruption in lakhs for visa and other things to government officials, but still you will always remain first grade citizen in Pakistan no matter what. What we can do right now is only HOPE FOR THE BEST.

    @mercury
what are we getting being the first grade citizen of pakistan, its better to be a second grade citizen in any other country.

most of the people in the world wants to be a citizen of america, canada, england but for pakistan only afghani and bangali prefer to be a citizen here.(its a very sad situation)

what we have to show the rest of the world that we are a good nation, tell me any good things in pakistan.

i saw the interview of mahatir muhammad, he told how he turned the shape of malaysia, they had nothing to do, they just invited investors welcomed them as a very hospitable host and saw the industries growing like they never imagined, all this happened because they were honest to their country, but we are not at all!!!
Thanks to ALLAH for everything | Love what you have!

This shield protects me from getting tickets on the interstate!!.People will always take advantage of the system wherever they can, whether official or civilian.I was given this shield to use and it is legit!.Why would i say no?.Same rule would apply to a govt. official. The fine line is about the limits placed on these things in different societies. That only the locals should decide....
