Default why corolla diesel value is decreased now a days?

    Salam to all....
can anyone give some good reasons that why diesel models of corolla's are not in demand now a days as were before and now u can get these models on factory prices very easily in comparison to past when people used to pay a huge amount at name of "owns" to get these models?

Whats the cost ratio for diesel in comparison to cng?

whats are future perspectives for diesel models?

Valuable comments of this forum will be highly appriciated................
Regards n best wishes for all of u.

@sinbad. well u got my calculation right. not sure abt cng calculation. overall diesel is better than CNG. CNG has one positive that is cheap fuel. rest all disadvantages.

    to sum it up

    Pros

    - fuels is cheap
    -environemnt firendly

    Cons

-Extra price for kit, insdtalation etc
-heavy cylinder so suspension ruined, tyres ruined
-longer ques=waste of time. there are few pumps in isloo i pass evey morning at 9am there are at least 50 cars in que. i asked a friend he said that the pump has higher meth value so better cng mileage.
-engine wear is greater on cng as more pressure is put on it due to lower power of fuel

    overall cng sucks big time.

oh and the averages i put up for both my diesel vehicles is for RWP ISLOO inter city trips.

RWP LHR is did go via motorway but didnt calculate. i think it ate 45 litres of diesel. not sure. some 1 tell me theri motorway avg please...

now i m gonna buy 3 door prado with 1kz-te engine (turbo) should give me 10mk per ltr but awesome power.

    @gttx

You said CNG fuel is cheap, but from what you have told me its not cheap because your 2D gives better average than my Gli on CNG.

Maybe people don't know this. They just look at the price of CNG vis diesel and think its cheap because they dont do the math.

Maybe next time I change the car I will think seriously about diesel. Does any other company offer diesel car other than Toyota? I will love to see if someone offers diesel + automatic.

@sindabad. well u r right both cng and diesel now workout at sameprice per km. i never owned a cng car so never know what it works out at.

well 2D saloons ould have auto tranny, it will be a deafdly combination and if they turbo it man that will be something.

i guess its about time ppl understand diesel vs cng. actually our mechanics never understood diesel thats y the hate of diesel. but i guess now mechanincs understadn them but ht eppl dont.

anti CNG crowd where are u ppl man...look at me fighting alone against CNG

    @ autoSlaVe ..
Thanx a lot for ur kind congrats..very soory for responding late as remained very busy....

as regards the average i drove the car only 150k in total uptill now...i think its pretty good..i paid more for diesel car just to avoid long ques on cng plus u r sitting on a tank..these two reasons were forcing factor to go for a diesel model n MASHALLAH i am satisfied..its a heavy car with better raod grip than petrol models...

Thanx to all of u for ur valuable comments....cheerz
