    Default Speedo meter misguiding

Last night we were on motorway from Isb to lhr.
    On two cars
    mitsubishi toppo 660 2010
    City 1.5 aspire 2014

It was decided that we won't cross 110
But every time city guy had to slow down.
Ultimately we matched the speed by talking on fone. I was at 110 and their needle was at 100..

I just want to confirm that is it normal???

    660 is using 165-65-13
City is at 195-65-14 I mean genuine rims.

The city you quoted has a larger tyre than company spec, hence covering more distance in the same time, resulting in a variating speed

Even both cars are more or less on their specified rim and tyre sizes.

165 or 195 is the foot print I guess ... difference should me dependent on rim size or hight of tyre...

Changing stock tires to other options often changes the reading on the speedometer.

The stock tires fitted on Honda City 2014 are 175/65R15 and you replaced them with 195/65R15. Refer to the picture below and you will notice the difference.

The middle number in the tire rating is actually percentage, not a static value, of the tire width. Changing width affectively changes height of the tire. Hence, difference in meter readings.
