Thread: Alot of people say that PKR 1,000,000 for a 660cc isnt justified

    Default Alot of people say that PKR 1,000,000 for a 660cc isnt justified

    I have been thinking of buying a Japanese 2012 or 2013 model Move or a Mira and they start from 1 million and go upto 1.2 million. Alot of frds and experienced people say a 660cc car isnt worth it if you have 1 to 1.2 million. What is your opinion on this?

    I am thinking Vitz but 2012 or 2013 Vitz is about 1.3 to 1.4 millions which is again a little too much as new City is ~1.6 millions.

    If you have the budget go for city, 660 cars are great but ac usage in summer does a number on them in my opinion.
    A 1 million 660 cars has all the specs and features of an altis/civic.

    I wouldn't buy a 660 better go for some 1000 if you want JDM vehicle.

    I have the same thinking. I went for a 10 city over the Mira just because I didn't want to be buying a "dhinki" for so much. The car preceding city was the Japanese alto and that car absolutely stopped when ac was turned on.

    To be honest it all depends on what you require from a car. I recently imported a Honda N-WGN for my wife. My reason was simple. My wife just learnt how to drive and these little kei cars are easy to maneuver and park in tight areas.

    Plus they have auto transmission which is a plus for a novice driver. But if you are looking for a family car that can carry a few people and some luggage etc, I would suggest that you stay away from Japanese 660 cars.

    A sedan is a sedan and has many functions that can not be served by kei cars. These cars are built for a different purpose altogether.

    i wont either go for 660cc if i were to buy for 1000k anount i would rather go for saloon car

    As far as price is concern, i agree that these 660cc cars are not worth more than Rs. 1.1 Million.
    For this budget you can find Vitz 2009 model which is more practical as they will work out for you in city and highway driving and you will not felt under powered.
    As i was also finding a decent 660cc car but then i have to travel alot on highways plus rough terrain, so i have differed my plan of buying the car till 2017, as i will gather the funds and will go for Corolla 1.3 MT.
    (Keeping the fact in mind that i owns a Vitz 1.0L model 2009 self import 2013)

    if you want 660cc , just stick to 2013 and onward Daihatsu move / move custom or nissan dayz / mitsu ek wagon. avoid the rest

    the hi price is because of the custom duties and tarriffs, not the cars price

    Even i wouldn't buy a junkie for 1 million. would rather buy a mint SE saloon corolla with a brand new 7AFE. That would be love.

    then what would be options available ?
    would it be wise to go for a 660 CC then ?
