Default Bigger ampere battery in car..

Just wondering what are benefits of a bigger ampere battery in a car...as far as i heard, the pros are:

    No over worked alternator

    Bigger storage of charge

Battery can run for longer periods

What exactly is the case? As recently i put in 65ampere in my Cultus efi on recommendation of battery wala as he said to put in atleast 60amp as car is ac+cng..

Please share your views on the topic

I had 50 amps brand new battery which i replaced on warranty within 20 days..it dont work well. Ultimately it died so i had a bigger replacement (difference i paid). He said that for cultus atleast 55-60 works best (cng version).

Well abid bhai the markings on battery are their model numbers.
In reality there amperage is less.
Take the example of AGS battery their GL 50 car battery is of 40 amp and CNG 60 is of 44 amp's.
The person's at battery shop's sale those batteries as 50 and 60 amp one's.

well said, this is some thing people doesn't under stand! hence standard of products in Paksitan is 3rd class, so any one want to check buy a genuine Japanese battery of 40am and use it for 2 years, lets see any weak sign appears!!!

So this clearly says we should buy a bigger amperage battery as written on the battery itself as it is false..?

The battery had some inherent defect of plates being short...the vendor accepted it in inspecting the battery ..some manufacturing fault
