Default Toyota Aqua suitable or not?

    Assalam o Alikum Pakwheelers!
I'm a university student in Islamabad. I'm looking for a car for myself to use it in Islamabad from a last few weeks. I was in search for Passo Hana with Sofa seats or a Vitz 2013 in a budget of 14 lac but later I changed my mind to Toyota Aqua because of fuel average as I'm in student so it really matters to me, the background story is that I have to use the car for 1 year and then I'll sell it and will buy a good sedan. My budget to buy an Aqua is 16 lac with Islamabad Registration. The price I'm willing to pay for an unregistered car is 15.25 lac maximum (2013-14) model. Now, the issue is that as we have seen in the past that Hybrid vehicles are very good in fuel economy but resale wise they are not up to the mark, like the Prius (old shape) was very in in market in 2013 with a price tag of around 1.6 Million but after an year or two no one was willing to pay even 1.2 Million for the same car as compared to Corolla at the same price and time, it had a way better resale value. So should I go for Aqua? Keeping in mind that I will sell the car in an year? Secondly, the fuel economy is very important for me. Moreover, what are the other alternatives I have? Keeping in mind all my requirements.
Hoping for positive suggestions. Thank you.

Buy 2013 Vitz Unreg, You'll have less loss on re-sale after a year.

You'll not save enough on fuel to compensate for extra loss on re-sale of Hybrid vehicle, if you plan to use it for 1 year only.
