    Hi guyz...
Just want to ask is it true that Mitsubishi Motors have gone bankrupt a couple of years back and now they are not even in top 15 car manufacturers in the world. I heard that they were amongst the top 10 companies but now not in the list and in US and Europe, their products are not liked by the people. Please confrm to me.

    Thanks spectra.
what is the reason of their going down. Mitsubishi was used to known as the manufacuteres of some excellent, reliable and great cars just few years back. What actually went wrong and why now Gallant, Lancer and others of their products are not liked by the public. Is their something wrong with their vehicals or what?

Sales are declining and many new models are flopped in major markets.

In the end customer is king

The issue is complicated and involves finance mainly.

Mitsubishi lost a lot of money in the home market over airbag and brake faults that need to be corrected under warranty. Further Mercedes//// Daimler chrysler was a major stockholder and disinvested after taking away small car tech and knowhow after Daimler chrysler became a successful merger.

However Mitsubishi Heavy industies and the Japanese banks bailed out the car company and it is getting on its feet again.

Certainly some of their cars are much better than even European equivalents... the Colt, Lancer/ Evolution/ Pajero/ and the old Galant..... which was said to be the more intelligent alternative to te BMW 3 series.... by Car magazine no less.

Finance is kinda backbone to every enterprise. In present era its unbelieveable that a company in auto sector going to bakruptcy coz it doesn't have expertise or technical knowledge. The reason is that they don't have finances to fund their R&D projects. Why American Companies ain't that reliable as they were in past? They don't have enough finances to fund R&D projects plus to some extent not good business management as costs are increasing.
Finance, Business Management...Backbone to any company in any sector.
