    Default My Toyota Camry

Recently my Dad bought a Toyota Camry Executive Edition, 5sp manual. Full Optioned with ABS and Parking Sensors and BVB(Brake Vacume Boost Technology). Full Option Accessories include Auto Tyre Inflator, Safety Aid Box, Fire Extinguisher... Its a Silver Metallic and is Left Hand Drive.
We are considering to get the Camry converted onto CNG.(I know... but Its just a Considered thought) keeping in mind the raging Petrol prices and the fact that the Camry drinks 6.7 litres of Petrol per Kilometer travelled(80 litres Fuel tank)... What are your views, do you think CNG will work on a Camry and if anyone knows any 'Experienced' quality CNG centers for a Camry, Plz do Mention. Here are a few Picz.

Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.

people who use Highbeams.. once day would suffer too bigtime. People who drive slow on fast lanes, remember one day a vehicle carryin ur son, dad might get late to hospital coz people like u. underaged driving will land u in bigtime trouble one day or the other.. And the Blue indication light on ur speedometer denotes "High Beams"

    @ speedbullet
    Nice Ride Bro.
    Congratulations....
but why u choosed left hand drive ride...it's difficult to drive left hand drive vehicle in Pakistan...

and it's milage must be 6.7km/litre.....!

regarding cng, it will perform good on cng,
but the conversion should be done by some experts...
search and find good conversion centres...no need to worry about the result...
i have drive a Prado on CNG, that's performance was great on cng, not like petrol drive but really nice drive as compare to other vehicles on cng.....

    Drive Safe Bro...
    Have a great time...

Before you book a Camry through Indus here in Pakistan, they will have you sign an agreement that you will only put high-octane in the car. Using anything but the locallly availaable high-octane fuel (Rs. 65/L!!!) will cause heavy knocking and may cause engine damage.

My brother saw the old shape Camry on the road and it was knocking heavily. Most probably it was running on super petrol.

So if a car cannot take super-petrol, then I guess it cannot take CNG either! Just my guess.

BTW, you will get slightly better mileage on high-octane. A car like Camry really does not need high-octane. The fact is that these bloody Pakistanis sell "milaawati" (adulterated) petrol. Allah knows better---I am guessing they mix kerosene oil in it for better profits. Thats why the super petrol is not really 87 octane. So you have to put high-octane in it. Again Allah knows better, but I suppose these Pakis also adulterate the high-octane they sell. So it really won't be 93 Octane---more or less 87.

87 Octane works fine in Camry

Thanks 4 all ur support and commentz. And we didint get it from Toyota Indus, n dats one of the reasonz its left hand drive. Also we chose this Left hand drive from the Arab/UAE as it eventually costed less than the Indus Right hand drive(+we got the UAE Specs extras).

And , ur right, i mistyped the fuel consumption. I thinks it is 6.7km per litre petrol. And salman , the reason ur bro probably saw a camry knocking on petrol wasnt to do with the grade but the type i.e; leaded or unleaded. As even it says it on the guages when u starts the engine"use unleaded only".

Camry does gets 27+ miles to a gallon which is 10-11 km to a litre.

Hey i dont think that is UAE specs Camry!!..

First of all no such Executive trim is offered in Camry here!..

btw...that Executive seems to be an add-on by the previous owner....its colour shows its not genuine..

and if the latter is the case...this car cud be UAE specs!
