hi i recommend that why u not look for cultus? cultus is the best car among 1000cc. It is a spacious, decent looking car with luxuries of a typical family. Its mileage is awesome with 210 km on CNG(55 kg) on motorway. Santro and Vitz are also good one but lacks luxuries which cultus possess. About Cherry QQ it is small car. Cultus road grip, brakes and shock absorber is excellent as compared to vitz and QQ. its spare parts are also easily available and at much lower price than other 1000cc's. So i suggest u to look it.

LUXURY for sure is for VITZ

When it comes to economy only AUTO VITZ lacks here rest do well i.e. MANUAL VITZ, SANTRO and JOY.

And for DRIVE again AUTO VITZ sucks.
As all of them got computerized engines so diving is good for all.

this is been never ending topic i read almost all such topics regarding but any how ist off all just consider your self if u salary paid u also have to take care or maintenance of the car. i ll give u the detailz one by one.
    Santro.
resale : keep it mind the loss of 1k almost if u buy brand new santro its better to get a car which is a bit old.
Luxry : much better as compare cheverlot but vitz much better in this case
spare parts : cheaper then both cars (u compared with )
Fuel Economy : best as compare with both

    Vitz

Maintenance : much costly gud for those having 60k of income or so..
    Luxry : Best of all
Parts : much expensive then both of the cars
Resale: Much less as compare with both u mentioned
Fuel Econmoy : not gud as compare with both

rest i have no idea of Cheverlet but all in all ist of all decide wht r ur periorities, for how long you want to have the ride ,do keep in mind the most imp maintenance factor then with by analysis sort out a decision ..
bake if i m wrong do correct me thnx.

    @winsomeharis86
vitz ne app ki cow churai hai
i like cultus but it 25% as good as vitz .. for u all 99 vitz does 13kmpl, 2003 vitz does 17.5kmpl and 2004 does ... ok leave it , just search the web ... i personally checked avg of 99vitz and 2003 vitz .. if u r on salary .. go for santro ff cng only .. or coure eco if u want to keep cash in hand too .. its better to buy couple of months old car to save more money but it will be used car and u never know how it is driven ..
i thought many times and only santro ff cng comes in mind .. only 1000cc car u get trunk space in (after cng) .. electronic engine.
stearing of santro is hard but u can get a brand new power stearing from company dealer ...
cheapest is vitz with power stearing, auto or mannual gear , power windows, keyless entery (in 2003), dual air bags, abs, cd player, digital meter etc etc but i still prefer santro for salary based person ..
    thanks

    @ RocketMan

hi bro i own Suzuki Cultus since March 2006. Not even a single problem of airing the tyre has irked me since then.

In terms of value for money theres no match for Cultus. i am not just telling this that i have inclination towards cultus but from my own experience. I admit that cultus trunk space is reduced dramatically with CNG.otherwise it has a better space than any other 1000cc's in Pakistan.

Santro and Vitz are also good but the problem cant match with cultus in speed(on long drive) and comfort. and for vitz its on petrol and can be converted to CNG but also again theres no match of Cultus also on petrol for i have driven at 160kmh on Motorway. It was to be amonted to 180kmh but Motorway Police......!!!!! Cultus is best suitable for people in the range of 6-6.5lacs.

we all know cultus is curb engine car .. please dont compare it with electronic ones .. brand new cultus cant even start on cng with extreme winters .. my mamu has 2006 on cng and another cousin too . both said they had to convert it to petrol at night.... search PW has a picture on santro at 180km/h .. not just a claim .. my cousin in khi took his auto vitz to 170km/h not just claim ..
if its good for u then its good .. have u ever even sat in vitz ???? i sat in all 3 billions of times so i can compare ..
cultus is a good car but the most expensive outdated car in Pakistan .. ask anyone

    @ rocketman

bhai yaar cultus carb engine can compete wiht 1300 cc,s car and when it overtakes other 1000 ccs cars, they can't catch cultus and i have observed it on the motorway.

for freezing matters, mine doesnt give any problem in the recent winter at -2 centigrade. santro direct petrol par start hoti hai and Vitz is a petrol version!!!

Again i dont say everyone to buy cultus. It depends on income, family and other factors. thanks.

Seriously do you think the ancient cultus can compete with a vitz? LOL! perhaps you havn't driven a manual vitz, it'll change your misconceptions for sure. also a good conversion centre CAN convert a vitz to CNG (it's just a joke to think it can't be fit with CNG)

BTW since when does the cultus offer ABS, airbags, crumple zones etc or are these safety features just excess weight in your eyes???

Personally i think you are right to have your current opinion since you have probably never seen a "good" vitz (specially a good manual one) or i'm sure you'd replace your cultus in a heartbeat....

anyways this thread is a comparison between "Santro, Cheverlet and VITZ" so maybe we should should save this discussion for another thread: https://www.pakwheels.com/forumreply...umID!1~pw.html

Yea in terms of features and technology CULTUS is far behind with its direct rivals.

As rocketman mentioned the expensive outdated car present in our country but it is very much unfortunate that most of the people prefer this over these 3 cars.

Like i don't think so there is a single change in engine department of CULTUS from the old 86 model SUZUKI SWIFT. Almost 21 years old car with the same engine as CULTUS.

And on the other hand ALTO comes with the same POTOHAR engine which one can see in the early 80's.

Whenever one buys a new car it represents some thing new.

These days what i think CULTUS is curse of money.

i own both a cultus and a vitz and its unfair to compare them ... actually it should be BLOODY CRIMINAL to compare a piece of crap called cultus to vitz

i have heard so many people saying things about vitz that its not even funny, i want to know how many of people claiming

    1. maintenance is costly
    2. vitz auto is not a fast / smooth ride

how many of you with those claims actually own a vitz? how about this i invite you to come over and have a ride with me, 4 people, A/C on and i guarantee you AT LEAST 140km/h ..... and that's not the highway we are talking about and a stock car ...

every other part is available for the car, bloody side view mirror cover is available for 50 bucks ... you call that expensive than perhaps you should not own a car in the first damn place (with all due respect)

Shock absorbers (4 brand new from japan): 13000
brake pads (japanese- all 4 corners): 2000
    Air filter (japanese): 700
    Fuel Filter (japaese): 1600
    Oil Filter (japanese): 300

These are slightly old prices (approx 1 year old) and they are ALL for imported parts. Now you can get most of them locally as well (which is in the same league as other local branded cars parts in terms of quality) which would be about the same price.

Main issue with the vitz is that you'll need to shop around for the best prices (i get most of mne from KHI), and NEVER go to the dealership. here is a list of the same parts but this time from toyota Abpara (ISB):

    Shock absorbers (4): 26000
    brake pads: 8000
    Air filter: 1250
    Fuel Filter: 2100
    Oil Filter: 450

And the best part is that these prices don't include labour and not all parts are imported.
