I have a Lancer model 2005. Its switch for indicator lever has gone faulty. The car is under waranty but the dealer is refusing to replace it saing that it is a consumeable part and is not covered by waranty . My view is that switchs are not consumable like brake shoes and it has gone faulty just after 1.5 years so it is manufacturing defect(waranty is for 2 years).
Has anyone experienced such problem and should it be covered in waranty or not?
