Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

@cylestine, its quite possible bhai, 1 gallon is equal to 3.785 Liters.

so going 9 on 1 liter makes 34.065

No it means NOTHING of that sort.

28 MPG is the rating of Civic with the 1.8L engine.

    28 MPG translates to 11.9 km/l.

Your conversion "of approx 7" is totally wrong.

^ You're kidding right? The mileage is pretty good for a 1.8.

My Civic 1.8 Prosmatec gives me 11.0 - 11.5 km/l without AC. Most of my traveling is on the Islamabad Highway. Manual transmission will give better results.

    So 28 mpg seems reasonable.

    Your conversion is wrong.

    1 miles=1.609344 kilometers
    1 US gallon=3.78541178 liter

    28 miles=45.052 km

    PER 3.7854 liters of fuel.

    Which means

    45.052 / 3.7854=11.901 kmpl

That amongst a dozen other calculators also prove my point.
