1. Sui Gas Bill Calculation

Can anyone give the formula for calculating Sui Gas Bill? like if the units consumed are 200 what will be the gas charges?

2. waisay i came accross parhay likhay bijli chor
gas chor is something new for me

u save couple of thousands and nature takes back multiply by 5 in return.
wish people could understand that

3. Bill Calculation method i found.

1-Check on the bill your Units consumed will be in HM3
2-Make a chart according to slabs like

(HM3) (HMBTU)

0-0.5 (0.5*3.33)
0.5-1
1 - 2
2 - 3

3-convert HM3 to HMBTU as rates are given in BTU this can be done by multiplying HM3 unit with 3.33 now unit is in HMBTU.
4-Apply the rates according to slabs, sum the total amount resultant will be your bill.

4. @tauqeer
thanks for the tip. Can you do some calc here to benefit all

6. hmm nice. so did anyone find the formula to convert HM3 to MMBTU?

7. Sui Gas & Electricity Bill Calculator-2013

Don't waste your time to calculate Sui Gas and Electricity Bill, i have developed a calculator in Microsoft Excel as per rates (Gas & Electricity) of year 2013. Just put some information in this sheet and get your bill amount before bill generation.

Always be aware leakage of your sui gas in your home, because due to leakage of gas you have to pay lot of money against bill just for noting.

8. u dig an old thread

9. PM me the Excel sheet.

11. Its very simple. there are 2-types of gas meter, some shows meter reading in cubic feet & other cubic meter. Normally domestic meter shows cubic feet therefore ignore last 3-digits of meter reading.

Now how to calculate gas bill.
1) Make opening & closing meter reading difference Say 1,541,890
2) Its calculation is too long but at last we have to divide the answer by one million. To make calculation easy we simply divide this differential amount by 1,000,000 in the start i.e 1,541,890/1,000,000=1.5149
3) Now check your bill in which GCV value will be given i.e 1075. Simply multiply above figure with GCV 1.54189 X 1075=1657.53175
4) Now multiply this figure with super Comp factor which is also available in gas bill i.e 1.0013, 1657.53175 X 1.0013 = 1,659.686 MMBTU
5) Multiply MMBTU with current gas Rate + Meter Rent + GST +any other tax = Gas bill

12. Thanx ather bhatti sb.pehli baar sui gas ka meter samjh me ayaa

13. In another thread I've explained bill calculation detail ... however there is shortcut calculation but it carries ab error percentage s well ..here is it

for units consumed above 300 multiply unit to 23 and you'll get est bill
for units bellow 300 nultiply br 9

14. i think ur method is not right.

15. I know its an old thread, but what I have understand is given below.
Units consumed =300
divide by 100=300/100=3 (so 3 hm3)
to get MBTU multiply hm3 with 3.80=3*3.80
MBTU=11.4

In the given slab over 3 MBTU rate is Rs.530.69
gas bill=530.69*11.4=Rs. 6049.866/- plus meter rent and other GST. as I live in Malakand agency which is tax free zone so our calculations goes like that.
