    Default Chinese Sports Bikes-- What Are They at All?

    Dear Bikers and pakwheelers,

    As yestarday I had a small discussion with one of the Pakwheeler from PBC on the subject of Chinese sports bike, but after the discussion I got so many questions in my mind so decided why not I post a topic for it?.

    So Now a days I am saling out one of my Lovely GS150cc of Suzuki and after that I am looking forward to buy some sort of cruiser or sporty but something cheap just for completing my thirst. So can someone tell me that what is the performance of Chinese Sports bike and whats about its parts as someone tyold me that u can use 125 or 70s parts in it. So kindly advice about its technicality and prices of used bike and what are the good and bad things in it instead of resale value.

    As we all already know that there is no resale value of it.

    Regards,
    Faisal Khan

    Well I don't know that u like it or not as I like GS150cc so much, as I already have it but now its for sale because wants to buy a car n also another bike just for fun. Because GS150cc is a real cruise bike and need a special attention in the sense of its vitality and the most important thing that I need some money to add up into the price of car.
    Well if someone is also interested in my GS150cc just let me know because I really like to give someone who really wants to keep it something in special way like I am keeping it Alhamdolillah now as just like new also after 1 year with 42km/litre average mileage..

    I m not in favor of these bikes as they r not the performer but show off How ever if u r willing to purchase one, then i will suggest u to go for Brand new or very well maintained old bike wid low milage. As far as Maintenance is concern Engine & its parts are not big deal but when its comes to body parts it will be very hrad to find if some thing got damaged or need replacement.

    Dear Imran Bhatti,
    JazakAllah for all your kind suggestions, and one thing from all this conversation is that its not a good choice to buy a Chinese Sports bike because of Body Parts availibility issue, Well one more thing which I know that is against this thread but like to ask that can anyone from arrange for me the side boxes for my bike because I like to cruise my bike on long trip but really got issues that have no bagage holder content so I thing If I have side boxes installed on my Bike the problem will be minimised. So kindly Suggest me please.

    @faisal

    I think you have a lot better bike with you right now i.e. Gs150. Chinese bikes are piece of junk, only looks are attractive but the engine and parts are a complete failure, I wouldn't advise you to waste money on it.

    ^ I read an article about three years ago on Chinese bikes. It mentioned a brand called Jialing that did enormous business in markets outside China and even good enough to oust Honda in some markets. Here we have Jialing 70cc that doesn't even look nice.

    Another bike a 250cc sporty Zhongsen is manufacturing in association with Suzuki, which is much better bike.

    The thing is China does produce some good products but those products don't finf their way to our market. I woud always prefer an old Jap bike to a brand new Chinese one, which will soon be worse than that old Jap bike.
