Its a nice bike, I think I posted a review on this section a year or so back when it was first released here. Anyone buying it ? it'd be great to hear a first hand review.

I was waiting for the launch of this bike from a long time but it's not Made in India (from the price tag I can say). Now waiting for the Fazor 250 to come.If its completely manufactured in India then price tag should not be more than 1.3 lakhs and if it's so then Ninja will face very tough competition.Anyways happy with the launch.

There are even speculations that Ninja will cost around 1.9lakhs on the road. But ,if they localize it in India ,price can definitely come down a lot.

In India ,No Super Bike Models between 250cc and 650cc are Sold as of Now.Kawasaki Bajaj Ninja 250R Will Hopefully Fill this Void to some extent. There are Litre class SBK's from Honda,Suzuki and Yamaha Available with Full Service Support. But ,these are imported and slapped with almost twice the taxes/levies.But ,Since Service Support is Available in Major Metro Cities ,Enthusiasts Buys it Without any second thought. It is worth without having to face legal Hassles.

1)Busa(Hayabusa) Costs almost 13.5 lakhs On The Road Price in Indian Rupees.Suzuki Intruder M1800R is Another Model Available Here.

    2) Yamaha Got R1,MT-01 and V-max
    3) Honda- CB1000R, CBR1000RR Fireblade are the SBK's .

Grey Bikes are Now Almost Not Possible as they are Confiscated by D.R.I (Directorate of Revenue Intelligence)

All these Bikes Costs Rs10 Lakhs Indian Rupees or High On The Road Price.Kawacker 250 Makes a lot of Sense Here.I hope Suzuki Bring its GIXXR Range of 750cc range and Below Here in India.
Many Highways are 4 laned or 6 laned and Golden Quadrilateral Highway Product and Other Important Roads are Widen and SBKs are Not a Rare Phenomenon as Earlier.

I agree, the Nija 250R fits the void between the 1000 cc bikes like the R1 and CBR's and the locally manufactured 220 cc single cylinder bikes.

The ninja 250 R is the best twin cylinder, 250 cc bike in the world. Am really happy that it is being launched in India with full service and spares support.

Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki 250cc sports bikes had 4 cylinders.
    Kawasaki has 2 i think.
Kawasaki isnt my favourite when it comes to 250cc bikes.

the Kawasaki Ninja 250R has no direct competition from any other bike maker, be it Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki. the Ninja 250R is the BEST 250 cc super sports bike internationally. search in Google or Youtubeand you will get the picture.

Imported stuff are available in India too. That too legally, with service back up, along with spares.

Eg. Suzuki- Hayabusa, Intruder. Yamaha-R1, MT-01, V-Max. Honda- CBR1000RR, CB100R. Plus Ducati bikes. Harley Davidson bikes will be sold in India from Next year.
