    Default Restore or Move on

    Hello Everyone,

    I am a newcomer to pakwheels have been in the uk for last 6 years but finally coming back home next month Insha Allah. Now the reason for starting this thread is to get some advice from all of you about my old bike which i rode for about 5 years before coming here and after that my younger brother have been using it till now but he has not taken good care of it and its in pretty bad condition now and he is asking for a new one and i am more than happy to get him one but the thing which is confusing me is that should i keep and restore it and try to go down the memory lane or just move on and let her go any suggestion are welcomed by the way i am thinking of getting him a new one and restore the old one and just keep it for fun sake. Now here is the things i want to know about the restoring because i have been away for quite a long time so i don't know the current market so how much do i need to bring it to its original condition. its honda cg125 90 model and pretty much need every thing. Thank you very much in advance for reading through this long post.

    @Tanveer: Welcome to PakkWheels

    CG125 1990 is one of the deadly 125 ever came, in Khi this years 125's are highly favoured if in good condition.

    Will suggest you to restore it to the full the total exp should not go above 20K in bringing her back to her original face.

    Keep the 125 1990 with you its not just a bike its the moments you spent, as I have 3bikes hardly use them cause my uncle's dad and brothers use to ride them in their college days and when they come to my place and see these bikes is good shape I get a warm appritiation from them with lots of good talks.

    And for your brother will suggest to get him a used MEHRAN a four wheel, but if he still wants a bike get him a new one. If going for new 125 get the DELUX shape 5 gears with front disk. I think 125 DELUX is more grippy than the regular 125 classic.

    Deluxe costs PKR:115K its the most exp local bike avialble.

    do a cost breakdown, see how much a new one costs and then get a few quotes from mechanics to find out how mush it'll cost to restore the old one. see which is cheaper and go for that.

    get it restored as it was one of those models that fanatics are looking for even today and yeah regarding your brother then I would suggest to get him a new one
