    Default Which sport bike is suitable for early riders?

    Hey guyz!!! Its been very long since my last post.
    I am quite a sport bike enthusiast but never had the opportunity to put my hands on a sport bike. Currently i own a Kawasaki GTO125 and i'm quite satisfied with its performance.
    But as you know passion has no limits so i'm planning to buy a sporty breed. So just wanted suggestions as to which one i should go for. Yamaha R6 or FZ6, Suzuki GS500, Kawasaki Ninja 250 or 500 or a Honda CBR600

    Do not go above 400cc as the beginner's bike. 250 or 400cc is enough to start with, in this way you have to spend less and this is the time when you have to learn other things as well.

    My very first bike was a Suzuki GS500, so it doesn't really matter if you start off with a powerful bike. You just need to be mature and ride sensibly.

    I would suggest you start off with a 600 as you'll quickly grow tired of 250's and lose money when you upgrade. Get a CBR600/R6/GSXR600/ZX6R, a Suzuki GS500 or Bandit is also nice if you like naked bikes.

    @Getafix
    He is asking about sport bikes. 600cc sports bike for a beginner moving from 125GTO would be like getting onto an F-16 from a Rickshaw.

    I didn't even know how to ride a bike and taught myself to ride on a GS500. Granted it's not as fast as a 600cc sportbike, but still it's not impossible. You just need to be careful when you're riding them.

    You can definitely get a pretty good machine in that budget. Most of the new riders who go for 250 look for brands like CBR of Honda and FZR of Yamaha or ZXR of Kawasaki, old models of these bikes are still on the roads in big number. The qualities of a good engine, cosmetic condition and legal status does not come with many bikes, which is quite unfortunate.
    One more thing, a sports bike is for performance. Economy and performance are two opposites in the bikes you are looking for. For economy buy a CD70, for performance, looks and all that get any sport bike of your choice. I hope that makes sense.
    If you buy from any showroom you will be paying at least 50k more than actual price, and if you buy from some owner make sure the documents are transferred in his name and the engine is in good condition. Normally the engine's sound will tell a lot about it.

    Good luck.

    bro a legal bike should have... import papers....and a reg book......sum byks have fake resgistrations ..lyk registration no doesn't exist ...or they r registered against sum scarp / auctioned byke....personally i dont recommend a 250cc byk.....because we hardly find a good 250cc byk dese days...Talal bhai's (7nth gear) byk is an exception....u can find a decent bike in ur budget....n best of luck ....
