There are alternate opinions regarding initial running. I believe that initial running should be done, while the bike is running and even some while the bike is stationary.

So, here are some photos, of the bike's engine running while stationary. To help the engine, I had a pedestal fan running to cool it.

I too have a GS150, purchased in September 2005. Running well so far. 35000km. The battery lasted 3 years, but the replacement purchased from Suzuki Rwp lasted just one month, and I have been kick starting it ever since. Am wondering if I should consider a sealed battery? Might do so one of these days..

Thanks Romano, please do post some photos and purchased price of your bike. I was told that my bike has the latest sticker. Seems like a lot of sticker changing is happening and it would be worthy if we could have the different models posted here for reference purposes; and let us know how does the battery issue resolve.

    What I don't like :

    1. The 2 keys provided are of the cheapest type, not even the Suzuki monogram is printed on it.
    Suzuki GS150 (Photos and comments) - 79807

    2. There is a slight noise in the chain cover and I hope it is only an adjustment problem.

    3. Don't like the rear tire.Suzuki GS150 (Photos and comments) - 80398

    What could be better:

    1. Front disk brake.

    2. Fuel gauge

mashAllah nice bike yaar but why didnt u consider ravi piaggios option? i had owned both gs 150 and ravi piaggio, my opinion is that piaggio is better overall due to disc brakes, fuel guage, dipper switch like in cars, larger fuel tank, better average, btw i have never felt that im riding on a low powered bike of 125cc after suzuki coz it gave me same performance,

Thank you umer009 for your post.

I did go and see Piaggio 125cc and no doubt the bike's looks were appealing but there were other factors in my mind like after sales service, availability of body parts, etc. and besides it was only 125cc. I still have a Honda 125cc 1991 and I am the first owner. I wanted to move on to beyond the 125cc and the Honda experience. So, there were all these reasons and my choice finally narrowed down to GS 150.

Now, the nice bike of yours, can you tell us what model it is? And I wish I had bought my bike in black color.

    Thanks.

@khanthegr8, Thanks and will keep posting.

So far, I have managed only 10kms on this bike apart from some minutes of stationary engine running. I am waiting for the registration process and then can take the GS 150 onto the road.

Recommendations needed for the rear tire (not off-road) and has anyone installed the 2-tip spark plug in their bike. Certainly plan to do so once the running is over.
