Lightbulb Buying new Motor Cycle need Suggestion-Islamabad

    Dear Friends,

For Honda i will buy from Tahir Autos, Islamabad as they can give bike at spot for need wait. Also what things need to check while buying as i saw one friends Government Bike Honda CD70 and it was just as dead bike.

Please give me choices and Positive and Negative

You are going for a New one, so while purchase nothing important to look is required, but after you get on the Road please get a Helmet and Gloves.

Yes Gloves too, cause in case if mishapp (Godforbids) it help alot, plus it will save you from getting your Hands Burned to dark black.

    Now for the bike:

    - First 1000 kilo meters do not push her to high RPM's with speed 40-50 Km max.
    - Make sure that the battery's water level is not high while you get your bike delivery casue the water in battery boils out and effect the areas, as in Side engine cover loosing paint and other acid marks arround. ( will suggess a after market dry charge battery)
    - Make sure to have Side mirrors.
    - Get a fuel filter installed.

Rest Good Luck for this Ride. May you keep her long and your Grand Children enjoy her in 2050.

    @Porsche_Maker

As you want economy on high speeds so i will recomend u to jump in 100~110 CC segment. Bikes in this segment gives relatively better economy on high speed as compared to CD 70. & other plus points are Better riding comfort, Good braking & road grip. In this class u have 4~5 good choices,

    Suzuki Sprinter
    Suzuki Sprinter Eco
    Honda CD 100
    Yamaha 4
    Yamaha Junoon

Plz dont buy DYL Dhoom 70 its a crap i have personal experience with this bike as far as gift is concerned Yamaha Junoon is the best option as it is stylish and is good on fuel economy and also well build.

Junoon/CG125 is out of question, currently checking for Yamaha 4, Honda CD70 or any other durable bike all New, as i have got information that other than Honda all bikes have almost no worth after some time as one person told me he bought bike for 40k and now its too much bad in condition although normal use and nobody can give more then 10k for it. So main concern is durability as can be used for bit longer time and no tension.

Ok so u need a cheaper and economical bike to gift it to someone.. But u need re sale too.

Hmm... Well Honda cd70 is the answer for you, else you can check with local mechanics and market people about the quality and resale of other local brands..
All 70ccs sell quick bcoz theres alot of market 4 them, but make sure u buy the right one.

DYL 70 wasnt much successfull at first but they removed its faults in newer models and now it works f9... check DYL first as its the most old and experienced company in local bikes...
Metro is f9 too bt nothing gr8,
    pak hero is crappy,
sohrab is a ****.. my frnd has it.
    Superpower is f9 too...

But ill sugest u 2 go 4 CD70, a used one is btter than a new local bike.

Used one doesnt make good sense for Gift Insha Allah will go for New First Priority is Honda CD70 and second is Yamaha 4.
Please suggest good Dealer in ISB/RWP to buy.

Also please comment on the Yamaha 4 as resale will be out of question for next 4-5 Yrs Insha Allah.

^^ Bro i have Yamaha Junoon which has 100% same engine as YAMA 4 Or YD100, just body is changed.

So far i have been enjoying my ride mashallah, and its goin v.smooth! Pick up, riding comfort etca ll r gr8 and milage is also gud, i got 58KM/ltr during running(50Kmphr)

re-sale of junoon is also not bad, i guess a neat and clean Junoon or Yama 4 fetches more than suzuki sprinter... maintance is also no problem, but u got to take it to the right mechanics normal honda bikes mechanics are not advised 4 this bike.. its different. Durability is also gr8, its a rough n tough bike.. ill recommend u 2 go 4 yama 4 i.e. YD100.

dear if u gonna think of yd100 then why dont u adopt junoon......it has lil diffrence in price but same engine.....extra price for its beauti items.
u should cross ur 70k limit for this beauty for a gift.....for me its really a gift item.
regarding fuel eco its fuel avg is also good aprox......50 to 55 km/l in eco speed.
so my advice is only for junoon.
jahan tak bat achay dealer ki hay to koi bi dealer acha ya bura nahi hota....keep in mind u have to fight for ur rights......thanks

all of our office bikes were hondas and yamahas of varying engine sizes but recently we bought a Hero 70 and it was excelent value for money. i suggest you look into that option as well buddy. unless the person you are gifting the bike to is into the whole "badge" thing.

The new Yamaha 4 Stroke engine is better than all 4 stroke engines in Pak bikes. Its very smooth and very low noise.

I dun rem but they get noiseless cam or some thing like that in that engine so. When i use to be in bikes i loved the yamaha 4 stroke bikes, Junoon or yama 4 both got same engine.
