    Lightbulb Buying new Motor Cycle need Suggestion-Islamabad

    Dear Friends,

    I have to buy one bike in the range of Rs. 70k for gift for someone and not sure to go for which bike as initially intended to buy Honda CD70 as main concern is Economy no high speeds, no very long runs as normally will be used for normal travelling of 20 normally and maximum 50 km in one day.
    For Honda i will buy from Tahir Autos, Islamabad as they can give bike at spot for need wait. Also what things need to check while buying as i saw one friends Government Bike Honda CD70 and it was just as dead bike.

    Please give me choices and Positive and Negative

    regards

    Yama4 price is 69,800 and Junoon will cost you 72,500.......If you wanna buy CD 70 then get it before 1st of July because CD 70 and CD 100 prices are going to be increased on 1st of July, remember the prices of CG 125 and CG 125Dlx have already been raised. Best of luck

    @khan

    In any case i can buy after 1 July as out of country, so now battle is between Honda CD70 and Yamaha YD100.

    @Storm

    I agree with you for HERO but its consumption is not tht much good and also its good till its new a little bit old and here you are going to know all parts name and brand. My frnd told me the story bought new and sold later and switched to HONDA CD70

    I have seen a Hero bike running great for the last 3 - 4 years, the owner is a satisfied man, it all depends upon how you keep it.

    Are you talking about the CD70 Vibration on high speeds, as i use to have one in good old College Days and we had alot of fun on tht, i dont think so tht on high speed those tiny engines can go without Vibration as even on one Chinese Bike 125/150cc of friend i checked and it also have Vibratino at high speed.

    U r right that all 70cc bikes vibrate but cd 70 vibrate too much which is unbearable (for me but it can vary from person to person). Hero 70 virates but its very much bearable.

    Friends some last comments as from @khanthegr8 New Yama 4 topic i am inclined toward Yama 4 while still having some temptation for Honda CD70, so your comments will be valuable for final destination as this weekend Insha Allah i will finish up with purchasing of any of them.

    if u hav finzliezd cd70
    stick 2 it, i think u don wan any loss in resale n max economy
    but while buying check whole body, battery etc etc
    n yes, in start 300km r important
    use with care n change oil after that, speed shld be as low as possible, but no continuous pushing rpm, leave accelartor after time to time n pull clutch, to cool down
    after that little open care upto 1000kms

    @malik

    Holding the Clutch for long have no logic as you are putting load on Clutch Plate to keep Engine away from Gear, i think While Engine have no laod or load its moving and in short time there is no so much cooling of Engine unless you have long inclined and go in Neutral but in bike i dont think so keeping clutch in speed and Neutral in speed are good practices

    ^^ Bro malik g is rite, when ur driving ur bike @ 50Km/hr and u hold clutch, all load is removed from the engine and its Rpm returns to idle rpm(1000RPM or so) but ur still getting alot of air to cool the engine so it helps, also driving constantly at a perticular speed(slow or fast) is bad 4 engine...

    I hav ths tried and testd experinece from my old yamaha royal which used to heat up.

    It make sense for keeping Clutch for getting some fuel saving in CDI Systems but we should not make this for cooling the engine as small time Clutch Pressing will not make so much difference to Time Factor as change between t1 and t2 will be small so the Heat removed will also be small and again very earlier it will take same amount of heat.

    That bike will not be used for very long mileages like 15~16km Max in one long mostly.

    Absolutely right, CD70 has the highest re-sale value but if you don't mind re-sale value then go for Yama4.A perfect combination of Power and economy and durability
