    Default My new suzuki GS150

brother, last day on Oct-2, i purchased my new GS150, i m facing some problems, bike RPM is around 4000, in neutral phase, its being heated up, one thing more i have sense lot of smell, does it because of sealing? any danger of this?
i am also required some serious suggestion about the engine oil, what it should be? i heard alto that GS150 recommend 10w40.
if i use synthetic oil like ZIC? does it reduce my bike's life as compared to the natural oil?
    strong expert opinions are required,

well ur bike is equipped with drum brakes in front so plz dont try too much speed in busiest places coz if something comes suddenly in front of u it becomes difficult to stop, be careful its for ur own safety

Leaving aside disk or drum brakes issues, over speeding is not a good practice in busy places. one should be aware of the 12 seconds distance. I feel quite comfortable with my cg-125 front brakes because of the larger drums.
BTW disk brake can be very dangerous in rush stop bc it applies hard even the rider applies the both rear and front brakes at the same time and force. its quite dangerous and there is 90% chances to fall if the rider is not expert enough and requires a lot of practice to become master to use disk brakes prperly.
The idea of Anti lock bracking system ABS brakes was introduced just bc of this issue and the ABS brakes doesnt allow a wheel to jam. Hope well also have this techonlogy here in Pakistan

hhaha , every thing is dangerous if u dont know how to use it,even the knife can cut ur hand if u dont know how to operate , ive not seen a single 125 with ABS brakes all over in the world , Disc is 1000 times better , safe and reliable , never jam ur wheel unless ur too noob to operate them
i ve not fallen a single time in my 8000+ km ride of my bike due to this brake by the grace of Allah

you are right umer about the proper usage of things, and thats what I said if a non experienced rider has to stop a bike suddenly than a disk brake could be more dangerous than drum brakes if its not applied properly, so it needs to be practiced to apply it properly.
I wont agree with you that a disk brake is better than disks that also have ABS technology installed and it is undebateable. BTW ABS also uses disks.

You may be right about not seeing a single 125 with ABS brakes all over the world, but I can not make any such claim because i have not travelled to whole world.
BTW, this technology is being used in almost all of the scooters/mopeds even of 50cc capacity bc they have comparatively small radius tyres and only disk brake can be dangerous thats why ABS technology is being used.
In most of the advanced countries it is being offered as an option for extra safety measures. Some countries are also making laws to make ABS mandatory.

What about a 50 and 125cc scooters that have a 16" diameter wheels.
Do you consider it as a motorcycle or not.

dont argue uselesly if u have nothing to prove , i didnt say they dont have disc brakes , what i said was they dont have ABS ,
ABS is an additional feature which isnt offered in 125,
images u posted shows simple Disc brakes not ABS , so dont waste my time neither urs
simple fact is cg 125/gs 150 dont offer disc brakes whereas all over the world it is offered in even 50cc scooter

BTW the image I posted is of a 125cc scooter motorcycle and it has ABS disk brakes. I am not wasting your time.. and not arguing instead just trying to improve my knowledge. Here are the images once again
a 125cc motorcycle with ABS disk brakes.
