    Question help regarding tappets[valve clearence] adjustment.

    i need some help regarding tappets[valve clearence] adjustment.... i have today adjusted my valves clearence of yd70 to .05mm inlet and .05mm exhaust.which is what the manual recoments .. i used the proper tools to do it. i.e. feeler gauge.. and i am 100 % sure that my settins are ok..but the problem is that it is has lost its power afte these adjustmnts... its pick is poor and top speed has reduced to 65-70km/hr.. what should be the ideal settings for valuves.. as mechanics dont use the feeler gauge they just using their fingers and adjust while the enginge is very hot..i did it on absolutely cold engine.so i suspect that either the original value has shifted because of these improper adjustemnts .. so should i make them a bit more tight or loose ?

    then enlighten us why your bike performnce depricated after you tuned it to exactly what the books says ??? how did you got that fixed ? feeed mee feed meeee ffeeedddddddddddd meeeeeeeeeeeeee ...... that is exactly what happens with me when I touch the carb or tappets...

    ^^ frankly i dont remember that .. just look at the dates ..

    now i have never faced such issue ..

    if i tune it to specs it is very soft and nice .. but this chinese head on my bike is a damn hard thing .. it needs tappet adjustments after 4-6k .. not like the thooooooms head which needs it after 1k ...

    so u mena the chinese head is better and runs more then the thoooms ?

    i am new to PAKWHEELS....
    please help me....
    i have my father's honda cd 70 1993 breaker point model...
    couple of days ago a extreme-low sharp metallic tick tick sound comes from head with extreme vibration....
    here authorized AHL mechanic says "sirf tappet ki awaz hey thandey engine par tappet set karwao aur bus" but AHL 5S is located very far from my residence therefor i have to know that what is the real and actual valve clearance values (intake & exhaust) of my bike...
    which feeler gauge i must use.....
    please reply very soon.........
    plz note that the genuine engine was rebuild after running 80000 km with original ART piston, and ARS sealing with AHL original spare parts....now it completes 16000 km.
    will be very thankful.... :-)
