    Default Fluctuating speedometer

AOA. I have a cg125 and its speedometer fluctuates by 10km/h at speed or over 70km/h. The speedometer needle is constant if i travel at around 50km/h or 60km/h. or sometimes when i see an empty road i take the bike to 80km/h and the needle is stable. but when i go constantly at high speed then speedometer starts jumping, like if i am maintaining speed of 70km/h the meter needle would keep dancing from 60km/h to 70km/h. i discovered this problem when i was going to gunjranwala this morning from GT road. can anyone guide me as to what the problem is?

The very same problem occurs with my CG-125's RPM Meter. It starts to fluctuate after 8k RPM ... jumps between 8-9 ... eventhough that happens occasionally, doesn't bother me. But i am only curious to know the root of this problem.
However, Speedometer remains stable even @ 120

I also discovered this problem on Long Route. I was going to Mananwala from Lahore. Was going @ 110-120 when discovered this problem. After a bit of observing, i noticed that needle only dances whenever i go over bumps on road. While at Stable Drive (on Clean Road with no bumps), no such thing happens.

whether its a rpm or speedometer , both of them uses same type of mechanism the wire to rotate,
by time the cable developes a fair amount of play(looseness) due to which needle fluctuates , solution is to replace the meter cable with a new one ,
if problem persists also get ur meter serviced
