Thumbs up CG 125 Extremly Modified

now have a fine suspention front is telescopic and rear is heavy mono shock absorber braking power is also enhanced as a rear drum becomes larger and front brake is replaced with disk brake now i can enjoy a sports suspention as well as complete sports look but as per maintinance it is just like honda 125 all the parts are available and the petrol average is just affordable

its my first job and it cost me 85k including the cost of bike (as i took the old one to create something new ) , engine overhal, complete new paint and chrome works, original almunium rear footrest, original japanese sankei mufler, japanese disk brake as well as front and rear suspension, rear fork arm is from kawasaki japan this bike is cg125 1984 and it is on its original chasis and original engine ( no change in original documents )

Thats called a genius at work. Nice job. Add some more charm to the tail of the bike, besides thats its an awesome project. Did you do the tank fabrication yourself or is it from some other bike?

Thumbs up Airfilter extremely modified 125

got ths pic from the genius junaid's project, no doubt he had usd grey mater, 2 thumbs up
    Dear all

As i going through the pics of project, my eyes stoped at the high flow filter, its a cone shaped airfilter atachd 2 carb, according 2 him, tht pick n top speed s gud è tht airfilter

Now adding my experience, i had ths airfilter n thnking tht due 2 high flow it ll b great experience. But as i fix it n after rejeting the carb, it doesnt gave me a required performance. At tht time, i 4got ths filter. Thn the thread from junaid make me anxious tht atleast sumone s using tht filter. I asked junaid abt tht bt he was unable 2 satisfy me, thn again i atch tht filter, rejet the carb n go 4 test drive bt neithr me nor my mechanic undrstood it, bt atleast i knw tht ths thng do work. Thre s sum prob, nw i want expert opinion, so plz share ur opinion, experience n predictions. CG 125 Extremly Modified -181649

What I think is that these air filters work more in open space and if you are talking about junaid's bike then he has changed the seat of that bike giving the filter more room to breath and if you are doing it in your STOCK 125 then I think that the filter may not perform accordingly as stock 125 has a littel room for these filters....... the basic purpose of filter is known to everybody but these filters are build to make more combustion in the chamber by letting more air in, so in order to have best from it you have to make a littel air intake pipe for it. This is my theory

    @ tamour

Bro wht u r saying is not right, the carb creates a negative pressure which sucks the air, 2ndly when i used tht airfilter, tapa was not atached so giving enough air to breathe, when given throttle on static bike there was no missing and guessed tht bike will run faster but when i ride the bike, it start missing, I dont know where is the problem

as the name suggests the filter gives less resistance to the engine's vacum and this results in more air being pulled in and thus better performance.

Bro ur are right that carb pull air, change the plug and then see what happens. What i mean to say was that giving room may change the issue but you said that you removed the tappa then there must be the plug as you may require a bigger plug to par the amount of air in the engine. and tell me which 125 you have point or cdi? and date of model

    Cool

    @ tamour

my bike is honda cg125 deluxe, its 2006 model, and i m using iridium racing plug, its has a gud pick but lesser than classic 125. But top speed is great 120+, Now back to the problem, i fit this airfilter and bike does missing even after rejetting the carb. But when i replace with stock filter, there is no missing no problem at all. I ve also replaced the high flow air filter keeping in mind tht there could be some problem in that filter but results were same then i made a Y and fit two filters with two branches of Y and one stem to the carb but still no desired results. Plug is 100% OK coz if there is missing then it ll cause missing with stock filter too

this is the whole story, science says tht greater the air and increasing the fuel will improve in top speed and pick. Thats increasing the compression ratio. I know i m on the right track but there is modification of other minimal things too. May be replacing the jet of carb with bigger ones or something like tht. but......................... Again the same problem, need expert opinions

Bro change the carb to cb150 or cb180 then you can have your desired results. I am not saying to change the plug cause its worn out, try install the plugs with bigger current. I can not remember the name of that plug but will try to find out One of my frnd has this filter in his bike and he changed the plug and he was more than satisfied. Did you asked Junaid about this........

Hi Tabi this is junaid from Karachi
    dear sorry in hurt u
according to me agar theory samajh lo to kam asaan ho jata hai
fire can not burn without oxygen
lekin hawa agar taiz ho to tab bhi aag bujh jati hai
    yehi tumhare sath horaha hai
filter sahi hai lekin aap ke carborater ka mixture out hai

dear cars mein turbo aata hai blv me turbo is nothing except a high rpm air blower
chaho to google pe dekh lo

cg125 k carborater mein slide pin k 5 adjustments hen
in mein se middle wale ko choose karo
2 ooper 2 neeche chor do
is se thora sa petrol barh jaye ga aur aapke zada airflow se match kar jayega
is ke sath sath thora bht mixture bhi adjust karna parega
aur as per honda manual mixture ko pora bnd kar k aik ya 1.5 thread kholna
is se zada kholo ge to gari bht petrol le gi aur plug kala karegi
ye sab mere sath hua hai dost
mixture basically mix the air with petrol
mixture sirf petrol ko de raha hota hai
air suction carb khd karta hai aur wo aapke slide piston se control hoti hai
rahi bat is air filter ki to bhai mere hsab se more air more combustion
aur is air filter se dono faide hen 1st more air 2nd no dust in carb
yahan karachi mein alterbike wale hazraat air filter lagate hi nai hen
maine yehi kiya hai aur khd kiya hai
sale mechanic pagal banate hen bcos hmare han mechenic generaly ustad k neeche kam kar k banta hai
    they got no theory
kar k dekho inshaALLAH problem solve hojayegi
bhai agr koi problem ho to contact me 03219270607
