1st check motor connections are they tight? then battery voltage with multimetere then check carbon brushes in self motor or check button is there carbon in button points and self sproket are chain drive which is use for twist the crank. in main se koi problems ho sakti hai.

dear as far as my bike is concerned it stars on first kick,, actually the connections to the unit are ok ,, but the rubber strap that holds the unit onto the place is worn out so its just jumping in the small place where it is placed and obviously with time the connections may go loose and break some conductors resulting in weak spark or no start altogether,, ,, just chek there may be the air filter casing underneath seat to make surew that that is ok..

Does the self go properly, i.e. does it sound as usual? Does it start ok on kick? If not, then make sure that current is passing onto the engine.

the "tick tick" sound heard under the seat comes from the "relay" which operates the self , relay switches the self wenever u press the start button , the sound always come but normally u dont hear as the bike starts instantly after pressing the self

coming sound indicates the relay is operating correctly ,but there might be a chance it is not receiving proper voltage due to lose connections at battery side
1.try replacing the battery with some other one
2.if problem persists check ur self for weak carbon brushes
but according to me ur battery might be culprit

sounds as usual, Bike starts in one kick.

Also make sure that the cables on the battery ends are not loose.
changed the clips to new one but still only tick tick.

    1-will do it and check
2- Recently installed new genuine carbon brushes hardly used self 20 times after
    installing new carbon.

well simple thing , u installed recently new carbon brushes , so the mechanic who installed them knows wat he did while fitting
maybe the bush is jam inside or it may be the improper fitting of brushes causing the problem

@ALL today i checked with the battery of coure bike start in half self, so i think that the prob is with 12v-7amp battery , now i will go for 12v-12amp battery hope this will solve the issue.

@YamahaYB100 Bro thank you v.much for the reply and the no. so kind of you.

@elden Sir one gs 150 2006 model is performing very well with my frnd as it was bought new and the owner(my frnd) always take care of it's regular maintenance and it's everything is still just like new. The one i'm discussing above is bought by me few months back used 2006 model and only i know how rudely the previous owner of my bike used it that is why my bike is having some small issues nothing big, these issues are nothing as compare to the way my bike being treated but i got it dirt cheap. In short it's the best bike available in the market right now.
